What are you snacking on now?

White bread, with shrimps, mayo, lemon and milk.

4 Ginger Biscuits and a nice sweetened Capucino.
5.30pm. pre dinner.

Last snack I had was a French bread roll (y’all may know it as marraqueta) with mortadela and mayonez. Today it’ll likely be a pear before lunch and a plum right before I pedal back home, then I don’t know, probably a bread roll with margarine to scratch the itch before dinner.

Try doing that with avocado, only thing you have to change is add more sugar because it’s not a sweet fruit. My mother and I tend to swap dinner for this delight when avocado’s on sale.

Hmm, interesting. About all I do is make guacomole with ’em. And ironically, I always hated guacomole when I was a kid.

Guacamole with black pepper and diced onion is a heck of a snack dip, goes great with bread or crackers. Another dinner alternative for us.

Kids have annoying palates. I used to hate tomato and bellpepper, and now guess what I can’t go without on my salad. (Pretty sure I would’ve hated guacamole as a kid too, if I’d ever tried it.)

I haven’t heard the words peanut brittle in a long time. That was my dads favorite candy. I never really liked it until one holiday my sister in-law brought my dad some homemade peanut brittle that someone made. It was so good!
Your post made me think of my dad. Thank you.

Sorry to get of topic, but to get back on track I’m eating Doritos with lemon and Tapatio.

Another fresh habanero pepper. The last batch I got at Frys' appeared to be pekid and wan, so I am in a hurry to polish them off so I can shop for a hale looking batch.

You’re very dedicated to your habaneros, buff. That’s lowkey admirable.

When I run out of jam/jelly/preserves/whatever, I’ll make a PB&J only with honey. Slather the PB on toast so it gets nice and melty, drizzle some honey on the opposite slice of toast so it soaks in, then slap ’em together and eat.

Tastes kindasorta like peanut-brittle.

Yeah, I do that too. It’s good! It doesn’t taste the same if the bread isn’t toasted.

English Bleu Stilton on a Ritz…

Once Again brand sunflower seed butter, on a spoon.
I don’t eat the spoon.

(peanut allergies prohibit peanut butter :frowning: )

Aloo Chaat. It’s kind of like an Indian style spicy potato burrito. Delicious. I also get some spicy mango tumeric sauce, mix up in yogurt, and enjoy a spoonful with each bite of the Aloo Chaat.

Homemade potato bread with margarine. Light, fluffy and oh so savoury.

Blue Bell ice cream with banana and Hershey chocolate syrup.

Chocolate, stroopwafels, pizza, lox, V8, olives-green,black and of course greek, corn chips, pickles, chex mix, ice cream, ice tea-homemade, potato chips, apples, cream cheese, blue cheese-the kind made out of sheep’s milk. I have a bowl of cream of wheat and a banana every morning for breakfast to start the day on the right foot.

Forgot to mention LaCroix sparkling water to keep the calories down,

Not so much a snack, but a light lunch actually. Crown Prince Sardines. Packed with green chilis in olive oil. With a handful of Beanfield’s bean chips; sea salt and vinegar. Protein and fiber.

I prefer wasabi peanuts. The peas are good but a little too hard.

Right now it’s fresh cranberries, a handful at a time. An acquired taste but I look forward to the bags appearing in the stores. Tomorrow I’ll add cashews and maybe a bit of dried pineapple. Sweet, salty, with a bit of bitterness. It should be a tasty combination.

Banana candy with brazilian nuts. My mother hates them, but me? Heh.
