I have a feeling the FW4A will lose every advantage the FW3A has over the D4 other than tail-eswitch. The FW3A tried to do something different than the D4; it tried to be a useful EDC. To do this, it traded the extra heatsinking abilities and fourth LED from the D4 in favor of lightness and compactness. The FW4A will only gain a tiny bit of efficiency, but you’re never going to notice it. If the proposal was to beef up the head significantly it might be more interesting, but as it is the FW3A already can’t handle the heat it’s capable of.

I’d appreciate if you could ask for the weight. It’s not like I’m not gonna buy it even if it’s on the heavy side 
Will the hl3a lay on it’s back with the emitters pointing up without rolling for celing bounce usage?
No.
Perhaps with clip attached.
Or when you have mounted it on a magnet.
Is the driver in HL3A the same as in FW3A?
no - different layout for sure
(I guess same or near to edc18)

Is the HL3A available with aux leds?
Will the FW4A be available with 219C 4000k LEDs? That is my favorite LED Lumintop is currently using in the FW series, lovely tint.
