Although I really, really hope whoever manufactures these will have learned from the dangerous problems that showed up for some of us with the current light caused by metallic debris causing mistaken signals and electrical short circuits in the switch and under the driver. Wiping out the metal scraps and looking for rough edges on the threads that can break off in use should be part of finishing up production, along with lubricating threads and O-rings.

Make it better.

Agreed. :+1:

Could you find out the weight of HL3A for me please?

PS, if you talk to the manufacturer about instituting a QA/QC program, which would be a good idea, you can point out to them that it’s not only their production shop that has screwed this kind of thing up. That is if it will be made by the same people. If it’s subcontracted out to a new supplier, please talk with them about this.

An example of how it’s done wrong elsewhere:

Don’t fly in a Dreamliner, it might catch fire. And, well, flashlights should be safer and better made than Boeings. Is that asking too much?
