Nice.
I wouldn’t expect a light bulb maker to modify so many components…

To anyone recycling the driver of dimmable E27 LED bulbs BTW:
Just replace the capacitors with higher quality and better rated ones and put a thermal pad on where it can touch the enclosure.
I recently got a few dead bulbs, and got around to removing them, and man, some of those bulbs either use solid aluminium heatsinks with no fins(so much mass though), or pure thermal ceramic for heat transfer.
Only problem? Their caps died.
Other than that, cheap low CRI dead E26/E27 bulbs are good candidates for modding as long as you replace the LEDs and capacitor.

Yeah, cheap Chinese electrolytic capacitors generally suck…

SunLike, there’s one thing you could improve about your store. Provide efficacy numbers.
F.e. with 50W bulb I can choose to have 1 or 2 COBs and you say that the latter is 15% more efficient but costs 32% more. Higher efficiency sounds good but being able to quantify the improvement would be a major factor in making the decision.

Hello everyone! I’ve found several new interesting bulbs from Osram. Also they have added a “Search by CRI” feature on their website which can be accessed by clicking on “Show all filters” in the “search form”:https://www.ledvance.com/professional/products/lamps/led-lamps/index.jsp “Osram 4058075134485 - 8W 2700K 95CRI E27 Filament bulb”:https://www.ledvance.com/professional/products/lamps/led-lamps/professional-led-lamps-with-filament-style-led-technology/parathom-retrofit-classic-a-dim/index.jsp?productId=ZMP_3240277&classificationId=GPS01_1504396 – about “6€”:Osram Parathom Retrofit Classic LED E27 Poire Filament Claire 8W 806lm - 927 Blanc Très Chaud | Meilleur rendu des couleurs - Dimmable - Équivalent 60W | LampesDirect – 806lm I’ve tried it. Nice thing with filament bulbs is they emit light pretty much in every direction. This one is still a bit directional, in the opposite fashion to a usual LED bulb with diffuser which emits more towards the front. This bulb emits more light towards the sides. Much better for a fixture like “this one”:https://www.leroymerlin.fr/v3/p/produits/applique-verre-blanc-hanko-1-lumiere-s-e12327 where the bulb is viewed from the sides, but pretty bad for a suspension. It is dimmable and doesn’t flicker. As far as color rendering goes, it proudly displays “CRI95” on the box… But it’s 2700K and I find that much too yellow. I prefer 3000K. “Osram 4058075095366 - 5.9W 3000K 90CRI GU10 36° Spot”:https://www.ledvance.com/professional/products/lamps/led-lamps/professional-led-reflector-lamps/parathom-dim-par16/index.jsp?productId=ZMP_3295103&classificationId=GPS01_1054869 – “2.81€”:Osram Parathom Pro GU10 PAR16 5.9W 930 36D | Blanc Chaud - Meilleur rendu des couleurs - Dimmable - Substitut 50W | LampesDirect – 350lm I tried this one. It looks pretty good. Nice 3000K light with no tint at all, looks even a bit better than the Philips 90CRI “LEDspot MV Value GU10 4.9W 930 36D” (this is not the ExpertColor). I don’t know if they will last but I’m recommending it if you want really decent looking GU10 spots at a low price. There are 230lm and 575lm versions and another 5.5W 350lm version which I didn’t try. “Osram 4058075095403 - 6.5W 3000K 97CRI GU10 36° Spot”:https://www.ledvance.com/professional/products/lamps/led-lamps/professional-led-reflector-lamps/parathom-pro-par16/index.jsp?productId=ZMP_3296797&classificationId=GPS01_1054876 – “3.41€”:Osram Parathom Pro GU10 PAR16 6.5W 930 36D | Blanc Chaud - Meilleur rendu des couleurs - Dimmable - Substitut 50W | LampesDirect – 350lm This seems to be Osram’s answer to Philips Expertcolor GU10 spot… but look at the price! I’m going to order some to try them out. There are also “other models at 230lm and 575lm”:https://www.ledvance.com/professional/search/product_search.jsp?languageId=EN&classificationId=GPS01_1027362_tradeEU&ZPIM1FD00746_facet_string=GU10&ZPIM1FD00223_facet_string=&ZPIM1FD00218_facet_string=3000+K&ZPIM1FD00710_min_d=1&ZPIM1FD00710_max_d=140&ZPIM1FD00236_min_d=10&ZPIM1FD00236_max_d=20000&ZPIM1FD00221_min_d=95&ZPIM1FD00221_max_d=97&ZPIM1FD00626_facet_string=&ZPIM1FD10089_min_d=31&ZPIM1FD10089_max_d=1000&ZPIM1FD00711_min_d=12&ZPIM1FD00711_max_d=240 . Osram website does show the spectrum and even the type of LEDs used in the two spots… you have to click on “graphics and application images”. Spectrum looks extremely close to ExpertColor. In the 90CRI Osram spot, the lens at the front is held by three tiny plastic legs which can easily be popped off, exposing the LEDs… it is a bit flimsy and totally not waterproof, but this could actually be useful, as it means the spot can be modded., maybe with another lens for example. I’ve tried replacing the lens with a round diffuser (ie, a frosted plastic christmas decoration) and it makes a neat 3000K GU10 bulb. Output is a bit low at 350lm though.
Thanks for your submissions, I added those bulbs in the table.

They’re a lot bigger for the same capacity though, which can be a problem.
But you can buy Japanese brand elcaps, they will last long too.

Prometheus Lights will be selling a high CRI bulb .
The 2700K version has a DUV = -.0.0006 which is not negative enough for my personal preference but I think many will like it.

400-450v CBB is not so big, but 100v (there is no big capacity with 63v and 63v it is minimum voltage) really much bigger than electrolytic capacitors

Just purchased some Feit LED’s from Costco for $12.99 for a 6pk. 91 CRI, 90 R9. Can’t find them on Costco’s site or Feit’s. I can tell a significant difference in the color of my walls in comparison to my 80 CRI recessed lights (need to find replacements for these next).

I’m in Louisiana. Those don’t have the same specs . Like i said, i couldn’t find these exact ones on Costco or Feit’s website. The model number is CEOM60/27/6(W). Here’s some pics of the exact same ones i purchased.

The Feit enhance bulbs on costco’s site all have terrible reviews indicating bad caps and build quality, but as you said the models were different.

Caps that are rated 105C or less, worse if they’re not japanese. Good ones are rated 130, only 6 cents more… They’re always potted with grey stuff, have fun with that…
Once had some overpriced chinese ones rated 85C (viribright) needless to say they die fast >_<

Chinese put meaningless markings… you never really know the real values… even Adam’s chinese sunlike have inaccurate document/rating according to him…I don’t trust chinese electrolytic capacitors. Probably why the reviews are so bad.
Even if they “can” last advertised ratings, Chinese products have a higher error rate than Japanese. USA-made suffers a similar problem sometimes, misleading measurements…
Not necessarily saying its bad as there isnt much info on the new brands, but China loves to rebadge stuff…
