YuvalS's Hand Made Class, 7th Annual BLF/OL contest entry topic

Back to the "Workshop" today for drilling the body using 27mm Holesaw to create some space for the optics and electronics

Looks nice so far.

I cannot see several pics in post #26.

Looking good,
I once built a Datsun 180b engine in a kitchen in a flat in Melbourne.

Same problem here

Can I tell everyone what else you have done mechanically in houses?

Yea this is wild.

Which one?

Does it really matter which ones?

However you're posting images on BLF isn't working.

If you want people to see your images, use a real image hosting site, not Google with it's way-too-long URLs.

It's the last five in post #26.

I need to know what is broken in order to fix it

I see the images just fine.

Edit: I could also see them when they were first posted

That's because YuvalS deleted the bad pics.

Original post had only 5 images so don't worry you missed nothing

Finally after few days of rain I was able to continue working on the body.
I had to saw the inside of the aluminum plates after drilling the holes so I mounted a Jigsaw to a wooden plate and took it to mt "worksop"

I decided to leave some space on the middle plate to mount the driver and slave board to it so I had to saw each plate individually

Apparently my "Table Saw" was not a great Idea and I was unable to saw precisely

And after some filing it looks a bit better

It all looks the part.

great! :+1:

I cannot see pic number 2 or 5 in post #39.

Fixed...

Today I glued all 3 layers together:

(Pictures are numbered to help raccoon city report broken links )

1. Using heat sink plaster

2. Putting some pressure while it cure and keeping all drills aligned

3. After it cured

4. And after some sanding to remove excessing plaster

Taking shape nicely :+1:

I nominate Yuval to win the Determined build contest. Straight up solid work, regardless of the where when and how…
