Test/review of Golisi IMR18650 3500mAh L35 (Gray) 2019

Golisi IMR18650 3500mAh L35 (Gray) 2019

Official specifications:

  • Capacity. 3500mAh

  • Maximum constant discharge current: 10A

  • Maximum peak discharge current: 20A

  • Has a build in fuse that blows if battery is shorted.

A high capacity 18650 cell with good current capabilities.

The two cells tracks nicely, the rated 10A current is just around maximum, I had to stop the discharges due to heat.

Conclusion

This looks to be a good high capacity cell for loads below 10A.

$10 a piece for a battery that is similar in performance (worse when approaching 10A) to a $5 NCR18650GA. No thanks.

Good, but, nevertheless, according to your graphs, it loses a little, relative to the Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500 mAh battery…

Is this another contender for the “3500mAh” category of 18650s (NCR18650GA, INR18650-35E, MJ1) or would this be a bit worse off?

sticking to GA.

Thanks HKJ!

Indeed!

The aliexpress listing won’t even ship to the US anyway!

Thank you HKJ.

For those wondering what kind of battery it is, this is the LG MJ1 rewrap

Sanyo GA is a little stronger.
