There are a bunch of settings and you can have them different for different modes. I have mine set as a fixed color (usually red or magenta) when in “normal” mode and flashing or battery check when locked out.
If I recall correctly, the Nichia version has a Nichia-specific firmware that limits the current for the Nichia version (assuming the Nichia version Anduril firmware is used). Something like 80% of the max compared to the XPL-Hi/XPL-HD/SST20 versions of the D4S).
Yes, but I thought the current limit aims to bring the heat output of the Nichia down to the level of the non-Nichia version. But that does not appear to be the case. At least not on my D4SV2s. My D4SV2 Nichia runs much cooler than my D4SV2 XPL-HI, unlike my D4V2 Nichia, which runs as hot as my D4V2 XPL-HI.
I ask for help. I did not find how to return to the factory settings. Now it works like this .- When I press the button, I turn it on and off and there is the possibility of increasing the brightness. I can’t check the charge level (3 clicks), I can’t turn on additional color diodes (7 clicks). I ask for help
P.S. He removed the back cover, but nothing has changed.
Many thanks for the help. I would be very grateful if you could help in setting the strobe (brightness) and changing the color of additional color diodes. Now it’s green. Modes change 7 clicks. But I can’t adjust a different color. And I can’t adjust the maximum brightness of the strob.
In “off” mode: Click 7 times.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times.
To change the aux LED color:
In “off” mode: Click 7 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.
Unfortunately, the translation of this scheme is difficult. For this reason, I have many questions and requests for help.
I make 7 clicks and hold on the last, BUT color additional LEDs do not turn on. When I make 7 clicks without holding, it turns on and constantly changes color
Anduril has a panic mode where it drops from turbo to a more sane level once a threshold is crossed. It could be that. I remember TK saying something about it being hard to deal without how fast small lights heat up initially, although I thought it was disabled in the D4s builds because TK found it wasn’t needed in heavier lights.
I recall seeing a variable called something like “therm_faster” and thinking it was probably related, but I never looked closely at those sections of code. Is it possible something related to that feature is active in your code?
Thanks. I have such text, but due to poor translation it is not possible to adjust the color of additional diodes. I do 7 clicks and a delay on the last one, but the LEDs no turn on. When pressed 7 times (without holding) it turns on, but I can’t change the color.
Is it possible to set the high mode (constantly) of additional diodes when turned on (by pressing 7 times)? Now, to turn on in high mode, you need to start low
