i still have not started machining but i hope i will have time…possible Сијаличка 2 machine made 7th Annual BLF/OL contest entry
and here is one photo of one flashlight (older members here will know what this is)…for those who are wondering: yes it is signed by old lumens himself
Question…
With an entry in the machine made category would it be a problem if I ALSO made a thread in the modified light category?
I have something in mind that would be appropriate there…
Right near the top of the first post it states, “All skill levels are very welcome and you can enter into one of the categories below:”
One of the categories below… seems clear enough, thanks.
I’ll enter the second one when I get rolling on it, hopefully tomorrow.
Keen, but..
;)
I havn’t been around for a while, but it’s great to see the contest up and running again!
Some very impressive builds going on. Great work foks
is it too late to enter? i’d like to, in a machine category, 3d printed.
The OP says :
This years Old Lumens BLF Contest runs from 17/09/19 to 29/02/20 (UTC).
So no you're not too late ... as long as you expect to be finished by the end of february :)
I have opened a new modding thread for my entry to the modified light category: Skylight's entry to the 7th BLF Old Lumens Contest 2019 - modified light category [Matainvoy ML18S FINISHED, video added]
About 5 and half weeks to go
.
Nice countdown clock. :+1:
I’m waiting on parts from China. :person_facepalming:
.
Bump for the last month
And a word of courage and good work to all the competitors still working on their builds or mods
How do I enter this contest?

I’d like to inform that my mod for the 2019 OL Contest is officially finished!
The modding post with a summary of the mod is on this link: MascaratumB’s entry – Old Lumens Contest 2019 - Modified Light Category [FINISHED on 8th February 2020] - #5 by MascaratumB
And this is the “final post” with the completed “products”: MascaratumB’s entry – Old Lumens Contest 2019 - Modified Light Category [FINISHED on 8th February 2020] - #71 by MascaratumB
Thanks for the all the comments and tips given, and thanks for the opportunity to participate in the Old Lumens Flashlight Modders & Builders Challenge 2019 !
I also would like thank to CRX, kiriba-ru, led4power and Lexel for providing invaluable pieces for this mod: without their work, the mod wouldn’t be possible as I imagined it, and I wouldn’t have in hands a dreamed flashlight !!!
To the other contestants involved and still on the run, good luck and good work on your builds and mods, and let’s show how BLF works
Peace & Light!
Great job MascaratumB I like how your mod isn’t just a light but it also comes with accessories
Thank you pinkpanda
Well, when the skills to make a “great mod” lack…one has to amuse the eyes with other stuff, right?
Ehehe!
Hi,
could you please add my contest entry to the modified light category:
Flashy Mikes Entry to The Old Lumens Modified Light Contest
Sorry for being so late but I was not able to join earlier. This years’ contest appears to be special, there are so many beautiful builds and mods, and I really don’t want to miss it. I hope I’ll be able to finish my mod on time.
Just finished my build , what do I have to do?
Just sit back and relax YuvalS Nothing really to do until the prize winners get announced which could be a few weeks. Comp closes in a week and judges finalize their decisions after that.
