Yet another Beamshots-thread (FTT, Thrower, n x XM-L)

Hi everyone!

Finally I had some spare time and thought that I could use it for taking some outdoor beamshots (requested by multiple members in some of my review threads).

All the following beamshots are taken with these settings: 44mm, 2s, f/5, ISO200, WB 5000K, distance to building about 90m.

Then some flood to throw lights

Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the show! :)

Ps. Mouse-overs will be created on request.

Wow, good work, the DRY still rocks even vs the 7xXML!

Some bonus photos.

Shadow TC6 NW LOP

35W HID (4300K)

Ghostly tree

Woah! Nice stuff!

Just wondering if anyone was in the building at the time. That would be funny! =D

Just awesome. Highly appreciated.

Thank You!! Very nice and artistic.

Wow, those NWs make for a pretty picture... I wasn't interested in anything NW until now...

If you had gotten the whole trees on one picture, you could sell that as a poster.

Wow beautiful shots and very informative. The Dry still holds its own with its wall o' light. Although that 35w HID is just ridiculously bright. Thanks again.

Sure. That was "just a snapshot", in a minute, without any planning (when I was heading back home).

I actually thought that I got them, but obviously I was careless and didn't check properly. Wasn't too happy when uploading it to computer..

But I kind of liked the idea, so I might even go back and retry that shot later. :)

Ps. Do you know the difference between a good photographer and a bad one? The good one doesn't publish any bad photos.. (Oops, that must make me the bad one?)

I mean, you were out there to make beamshots, not take pictures of trees, so the outcome is pretty nice, huh? :)

Thats an awesome place for beamshots btw.. now that I look at anything else than the trees (those got me..) I notice how easy you can see the difference between CW and NW.

Dont worry, you are a good photographer boy. :P

Thanks for the beamshots especially of the triple XM-L lights. I am trying to figure which one I need and it looks to me that the Dry has a small lead in terms of brightness.

Beautiful pics! The DRY is still the true king! Even the 5 & 7 xm-l lights pale in comparison. :davie:

Mouseover for the STL-V6. Mouseout for TK41.

mouseover_for_STL-V6

The V6 looks like it can throw farther than the TK41, but with a smaller hot spot.

And nice scenery as well!

Very good beamshots! Thank you!

Thanks for doing this mouseover! And yes, the V6 throws better.
