BLF Interest List: EX3 High Current Beryllium Copper Silver Plated springs - Still selling my springs :)

PACKAGE ARRIVED

For reference, I am in USA California.
Everything looks great, the springs look awesome!
Thank you.

In for 4 LH351Ds if you get them!

How is it going with the LH351D 4000K dream bin group buy? Will there be also a second group buy for SST20 FD2 leds?

Sorry if I didn’t respond.

I came back from Florida Saturday, and had to go to the hospital because of me falling off of an e-bike, getting seriously hurt.

Nothing bad came out of it though, so I’m back!
Recovery is relatively quick, so I’m feeling much better now.

@Skylight,

1. It will be delayed, but it’s still up.

2. Yes, there will be a second SST-20 GB.

Thank God...

but we need work on postage...

Of course.

Shipping issues have been resolved on my part, but not on Croatia Post’s part yet.

Still, I wonder why it was able to get through you the 1st time, but not the 2nd time.

Maybe I should just send a postcard to see what happens next.

Never got any info, you have more data on this. I couldn’t search for anything cause i didn’t have any data.

Well if my side is faulty then i give up

Don’t give up.

It might just have been just an issue once.

I’m willing to bet everything will be fine now.

I hope so...

Good to hear you are feeling better. Good recovery!

Thank you for answering my questions. It is not urgent, but I always have good use for high CRI leds.

Will you have also the below BBL 3000K or 3500K SST20’s?

3000k, yes. Same color tint bin as before.

I’ll have to confirm for the 3500k.

Perfect. :+1: I will need some 3000K and 4000K for tint mixing this time.

Dang if we can get the same flux and chromaticity bin for the 3000k and 3500k that would be nice. I’m keen to pick up a couple.

Was it confirmed that all 3500k emitters shipping out for the 2nd GB were J4 Flux, GA3 chromaticity bins?

… impossible. Same chromaticity bin is impossible, this is because a chromaticity bin also defines its CCT. If you mean CCT off-axis equivalent, then that is possible, the first letter in the chromaticity bin defines CCT. So GA3 is 3500K, A3 chromaticity rhombus, and HA3 is 3000K and same rhombus of coordinates.

Concerning same flux, that is unlikely. This has to do with the way lumens and luminous efficacy is defined. Led emitters with the same radiant flux bin do their job equally well, but if rated in lumens, which is defined over an average human mind-eye bias, emitters with CCT curves which contain a higher amount of light to which the average human is more sensitive will look brighter. It's the way it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sad i missed out on these SST-20’s. If anyone who bought a ton would like to sell me some, please PM. If not, i’ll wait till, hopefully, the next round.

That makes 2 of us.

Three.

Hey Blue,

Would you be willing to sell the large springs separately? After my last order it sounded like you would rather not do that since they’re a pair. I just rarely need dual springs.

I’m using the large ones a lot for the Convoy C8+ lights and others similar. I also stopped installing them into the Sofirn C8F because dual springs made it too stiff with how tight fit a 21700 was. I was thinking it might start to dent in the positive contact.

Finally created my own website to sell on so that’s all going well

Of course I can sell them separately, no problem there

I understand your situation, like you mentioned last time.

@Barkuti, I was referencing compared to the last GB.

Getting the HD2 3000k SST-20 was easier than finding a source for GA3 SST-20 3500k.

Awesome, thank you. I’ll send you a pm when I’ve decided how many I need.

Do you get them made in China? Would it at all be possible to get a bulk lot shipped direct and I just pay you? If it’s some crazy number you have to order at once then that wouldn’t work. Max would be 1000

Currently I’ve been offering these springs as an upgrade at a cost but thinking it would be better to install them in everything. If I advertise with better springs it would sound better then mentioning the stock bypass possibly breaking.
