EMISAR D4S V2 26650

I would call this a win:

Very nice! A 5°C overshoot is completely acceptable considering the thermal sensor is not on the same PCB as the LEDs are.

Little config upgrade for the D4SV2:

I don’t really understand the bump at ~ 13 seconds. Must have to do with the way the ramp table is setup on this light.

I ask for help. I did not find how to return to the factory settings. Now it works like this .- When I press the button, I turn it on and off and there is the possibility of increasing the brightness. I can’t check the charge level (3 clicks), I can’t turn on additional color diodes (7 clicks). I ask for help
P.S. He removed the back cover, but nothing has changed.

Factory Reset: Loosen tailcap, Hold button, Tighten tailcap, Hold 3 seconds

Many thanks for the help. I would be very grateful if you could help in setting the strobe (brightness) and changing the color of additional color diodes. Now it’s green. Modes change 7 clicks. But I can’t adjust a different color. And I can’t adjust the maximum brightness of the strob.

To change the aux LED brightness level / mode:

In “off” mode: Click 7 times.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times.

To change the aux LED color:

In “off” mode: Click 7 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.

I apologize. When you click 7 times and hold on 7 clicks, nothing happens. Diodes do not turn on

Unfortunately, the translation of this scheme is difficult. For this reason, I have many questions and requests for help.
I make 7 clicks and hold on the last, BUT color additional LEDs do not turn on. When I make 7 clicks without holding, it turns on and constantly changes color

I’m sorry perhaps someone else can give a better explanation

Maybe you can go to private messages where you can write a text description ??? I had D4S, but there were no such questions there. not Anduril

I’ll be very grateful.

If it helps, there is a text manual available:

http://toykeeper.net/torches/fsm/anduril-manual.txt

Anduril has a panic mode where it drops from turbo to a more sane level once a threshold is crossed. It could be that. I remember TK saying something about it being hard to deal without how fast small lights heat up initially, although I thought it was disabled in the D4s builds because TK found it wasn’t needed in heavier lights.

I recall seeing a variable called something like “therm_faster” and thinking it was probably related, but I never looked closely at those sections of code. Is it possible something related to that feature is active in your code?

Thanks. I have such text, but due to poor translation it is not possible to adjust the color of additional diodes. I do 7 clicks and a delay on the last one, but the LEDs no turn on. When pressed 7 times (without holding) it turns on, but I can’t change the color.
Is it possible to set the high mode (constantly) of additional diodes when turned on (by pressing 7 times)? Now, to turn on in high mode, you need to start low

There are 2 separate settings to contemplate. The first is the Aux LED state (off, low, high, flashing) and this is changed with 7 clicks. The second setting is the color. This is accomplished with 7 clicks but hold on the 7th. The aux leds must not be in the “off” state to change the color. They must be on low, high or flashing.

First thing you should do is get the aux LEDs in the “high” state. From there, you will press 7 times and hold on the 7th and then keep holding until the color you desire is reached. There are 2 color settings where the leds are changing colors one of which will have it just cycle the colors, the other is a battery check mode and will change with the battery charge level.

“…The aux leds must not be in the “off” state to change the color. They must be on low, high or flashing. …
Many thanks. Fulfilled this requirement and the opportunity to replace the color

Well, this thread has caused me to order one in cyan (I’m a sucker for blue and this is my first non-black/grey light). I’ve got a Rofis MR70 as my EDC light for work, not sure if this will replace it or become a “household use” light. Looks too nice to get it all dinged up. Now I have 2 lights I’m waiting for (BLF GT90 is the other :stuck_out_tongue: )

I ordered this flashlight from Hank and got it in record time (12 days) very pleased with the build quality. I ordered my batteries from someone sees and they are at least 14 days away…Any other recommendations on 26650 batt? I ordered the Liitokala 5000mah 50A. I was looking at some keep power 5200/15A, will these be sufficient? I will order these in a 24h in home service because I want to play with this light and don’t want to wait 14 days till the Liitokala’s arrive……Any other recommendations? What would the minimum maH be and the minimum Amperage?

Thanks in advance for all the tips.
