KC1 keychain light is available now

I posted this. Thanks for confirming that copper wire works perfectly. Now I just need to find some laying around…

Hello everyone! just on the last day of 2019 I received Emisar D4V2 Brass! I state that I have Emisar D4V2 and the first Emisar D4. The first difference I noticed is the weight: Emisar Brass, 226 grams, Emisar D4V2, 117 grams, both with the same battery, Samsung 30 Q 18650. I noticed other differences: 1) faster flashing in Emisar D4 brass, 2) flashing in rainbow mode of the aux leds, slower in Emisar D4 Brass … will this thing of the alternation of colors be normal? Then I noticed a nice thing: in Emisar brass, if you make 15 or more clicks, the version you purchased will flash! For the rest, the fantastic Anduril UI works perfectly. Then as you all know, it has the illuminated power button; in off mode, the button will illuminate aux mode (the color you have set by clicking 7 with the flashlight off). When the torch is on, the power button follows the various light intensities that you will gradually set. I would like ToyKeeper or some of you to shed some light on the rainbow mode: is it normal that in EmisarD4 Brass the alternation of colors is slower than in EmisarD4 V2? Hello and happy 2020 to all!

Me too!

The Noctigon approach might make more sense for a headlamp, but either way, if Hank designs a headlamp I will buy one. Given my history, probably more than one.

Now we’re talking… a 14500 Emisar

+1

Got my D4v2 brass.

It’s gorgeous… a work of art! :sunglasses:

It’s also very heavy. With a Sony VTC5A cell installed, the light weighs 220g. Compare that to 167g for the Ti-Cu and around 115g for aluminum. It’s still ok for pocket EDC, but only if you have pants with durable pockets.

Just the brass 18650 tube and no-magnet tailcap alone weigh in at 105g! … nearly the weight of an aluminum D4V2 with cell.

The brass body tube and and tailcap are fully legoable with the aluminum D4V2. It actually looks pretty good with the brass head combined with the sand-color aluminum body tube and tailcap. That combo with cell weighs 149g.

IS THE BRASS GONE?

NOOOOOOOO

I was just going to order one (((

Hi, shocked too . Got my first grey d4v2 on the 7th, ordered a brass one on the 9th and now on the 15th, removed from sale ? By the way, i’m testing my first comment .

Drat, I was hoping to get one as well in February

Yep, got a notification that it was gone this morning :frowning: Ah well, I snooze I lose.

Welcome to BLF, Lightenzaza!

Thanks .

Hi went to order a brass light and there no longer available….

Hank must have got a hold of a good batch of SST-20s recently. I just got my D4V2 Ti in sst-20 4000k today and the tint looks identical to my FW3C and FW3A with the FA3 bin SST-20 4000k. It’s noticeably less green than my D18 and D4S with sst-20 that I bought some months ago and it’s slightly rosy on turbo. I’m very pleased.

D1 is goooooone

Hank, is there any old stock of the D1 lying around that’s still available for purchase outside of the store? Was going to buy one last week but had to wait, so I missed out here. Will send an email if that works better for you.

Why would you want a V1?

V2 is better in every respect except the tailcap, in my opinion (I prefer the shorter tailcap with no lanyard ring).

Do you mean the D1S? D1 is still in stock, but the D1S is discontinued.

Okay, the D1 disappeared from your site within the last 24 hours :frowning:

I have a question Hank. Why dont you do flashlights with USB charging? I know that ports make them a little bit worse looking plus there is also water resistance factor, but why did you decide not to imement it and will you do flashlights with usb charging in the future? Maybe not usb, but some of those magnetic clip on chargers olight has, or something similar.
