Amazon Deal Alerts & Discussion Thread

I got them in today. No bass at all. The fitment didnt feel secure at all. Gonna send them back.

They are so-so. For the price I’ll probably just keep them.

That’s what I figured. Just the powerbank and display is cute enough to be worth 10bux, so “passable” earplugs would be a bonus.

I’ll keep poking at them, see if I can get something out of them.

If anyone wants some nice bluetooth earbuds or IEM's, here's some advice that looks good to me, on Head-Fi:

I’ve got to get out more. My first pair so nothing to compare to. Did you try inserting them pointing up in your ear. That worked for me. Also added a piece of fishing line to them to keep them together if one falls out. Mine are for mowing grass only as I already wear ear plugs anyway. I like to keep my situational awareness high other times.

Is the built-in battery something easily replaced? Is it AA, 14500 or 18650?

All I can say is —- Just like Flashlights — Budget Ear Buds can either be pretty good — just ok —- or just plain crap — the $10 Rademax are terrible - sound/ in ear/controls

I bought these also with a vipon deal $20 —- almost as bad a deal as the Rademax except the volume controls are good

From the ones I’ve tried — these Yalfen for $20 are the best —- sound ( when playing true FLAC files from a high end DVD player/server) is quite good — ease of use with putting in my ears and the controls are manual buttons (easier for this old guy)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y2ZGMHX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also bought a pair of these Yalfen $19 — they have more bass but not as much musical definition — they fit well in my ears but I don’t like the touch controls that much—they work good for start/stop /answer calls but the 2-3 touches for other features are questionable —- The crazy part is these Ear Buds are the best single ear for calls — I used them in my utility van (very noisey) I could hear very good and the other person could hear me good with hardly any noise on their end

I’m thinking about getting the Yalfen and sending the others back. Between the two, which do you recommend?

I’m leaning to these more—Sound better streaming Amazon music through my phone — I like these controls a lot more

These have slightly better bass ( a little exaggerated streaming Amazon music) Fitment in the ear is better —controls are a little awkward-

These headphones will give you a good general idea of how they sound out of the box — as with all electronics they get better after 100 hrs of use —- link them to a tv/dvd player etc or something and just keep recharging them

Thanks. That thing that raps around the ear on the first model , does it work well keeping them on?

They stay on fine — I find myself fooling with them like they are loose in my ears though ( walking fast on the treadmill/bench press )—— I have been trying multiple types lately and my ears are feeling it though

In the $20-$30 price range, I’d be giving a serious consideration to these:

However, as I mentioned a few times before, a lot of it comes down to personal fitment/comfort. Just because they fit 10 other people great is no guarantee that they will fit you. If your ears don’t happen to jive particularly well with a given earphone (not a good seal), then forget about good bass.

Sometimes you have to go through a dozen different earphones until you find ones that fit you well. Thank Amazon for a good return policy.

Exactly, if it were about need we could all just get a set of 4 or 6 of the AA lights, and maybe one of the bigger lights for a total of about $30 and be done with it.

GOOLOO 1500A Peak SuperSafe Car Jump Starter

$49.59 after current $12 off clip coupon and another 23% off with promo code Q4Q3YKM2 (entered at checkout).

The GOOLOO brand seems to be fairly popular in jump packs, but I have no experience with it personally.

Yes, even-though the name sounds funny this is one of the better brands in the world of Chinese jump-starters… I have one, not this model and its pretty good at what it does. Mine is many years old and still holds good charge and was one of the first one to support quick charge input and output.

I also have a Gooloo jump starter. I have used it about 5 times with different people. It always works and the battery last a very long time. I might get another one for my wife.

Thanks, snagged one. I just put a jump pack in my wife’s vehicle and had been wanting one for my truck.

Thanks for the info,I just ordered 2 GooLoo with same day delivery plus some other stuff that was sitting in the cart for several days.
