Flashlight Host and Uncommon Budget Flashlights

How did the BriteBucket avoid this list? It’s not a host, heck, it might not even be a flashlight! But it has it’s own song.

Brought to you by Nebo, “We’ll Put a Light in ”Anything”:https://www.nebotools.com/p/GLOW/524!”

I have a hat with a built in light that uses coin cells, so once they died I pretty much never used it again.
I can see this being very useful for the average person, if they’re walking the dog in the winter or other things where you don’t need a ton of light.

Is there any other place to buy this from? When I selected USA on the site it changed the currency to something I didn’t understand.

Amazon has them at $8.
Search for “LED USB Beanie”.

Search them on Vipon. I saw them there before.

Here they are

Headlamp with remote LED:

Definitely not budget.

This light is probably plastic junk but I like:

  • screw-on magnet that doesn’t add size for those who don’t use it
  • right angle headlamp with mule emitter on battery tube? Nice implementation of flood-to-throw.

whats this please??

I have this light. Got it here.
It’s not too bad. Main LED is cool white, side LEDS are cool white and red.
Single click turns on main LED. Click to cycle through high, mid, low, strobe, repeating. Does have memory. Long press about a second to turn off.
Double click to turn on side LED. single click to cycle through solid white, solid red, slow blink red, fast blink red/white, repeating. Does have memory, but if you switch to mail LED, the side LED memory gets reset back to solid white. Double click to go back to mail LED, or long press to turn off.
Draws 27uA while off, 2.2A high. 1A mid, 0.3A low.
Side LED .1A solid white, .05A solid red.
Driver is easy access. Just unscrew the battery tube and remove the threaded retaining ring. There are a lot of wires on the driver. 4 to the switch (lighted), 3 to each side LED assembly, and 2 for the main LED.
LED is also easy access. Just unscrew the bezel- no glue anywhere. Led is on a standard 20mm board. I’ll replace the main LED with something more neutral, but I’m leaving the rest of the light as is.

Please excuse me stretching the definition of a flashlight but I think this way of using flex PCBs and magnets is interesting yet not worth its own thread.

Harry Potter and the Angry Blue Lights

Guess this belongs in the USB light thread:

The seller claims it’s titanium:

Looks a lot like the old (and new) 47’s ML light.

Yep looks like the old 47’s Titanium mini …

.

. And 47’s Quark MiNi AA Titanium Gen 2

.

I’d take 1 of each… who wants the other 599?

That short fat one is definitely cute.
18350 or 16340?
That MOQ though…
And they seem to be twisties, which is… hmmm…
…which is interesting for QTC dimming.

Hey, I haven’t realized that. I wonder if it’s the OEM or a clone…
I’m in for 1 AA.
Anyway, 600 pieces seems a lot for a BLF-only GB. But maybe it would be reasonable for someone like Astrolux?

BTW, they have also this:

BTW, searching by image has led me to this:

I’d absolutely be in for those 47s Ti clones/oem hosts. They’ve always been the on my short list for best looking lights. Definitely a group buy I’d be excited about.
