Looking for a Flicker-Free 20W CC-Driver

I search a replacement constant current driver for a new fixed lamp.

The stock driver is flickering with 100 Hz :person_facepalming:
(Philips myLiving LED Spot Worchester 4flg. 5056411P0)

Specification:

Current: 350 mA
Max width: 68mm
Max length: 165mm
Max height: 27mm
Required voltage @ 350 mA: 50V

A lot of “documented” flicker-free driver are available only at 75w or above.
Some expensive DALI-Drivers are flicker-free, but the width is too large.
I own a flicker-free driver (Self SLT20-350IFG), which would have been within the required specs, but I hear a 50 Hz buzz :expressionless:

Can someone recommend me a driver?
(A CC driver with 700 mA and 25 V, should also do the job. I can connect the LED’s to a 2p2s configuration)

Meanwell APC-25-350 - a bit too thick but specifies low ripple so should be flicker free

PLM-25-250 - I think this one would fit, but probably not flicker free

IDLC-25-350 - datasheet mentions “flicker free” and specifies 5% current ripple

There are quite a lot of others, not expensive, on meanwell site (link should set proper search criteria).

After you have the reference you want, you can order it from amazon or aliexpress since I don’t think meanwell sells to individuals directly.

Thank you for the hints, I finally found a small one on amazon. (Eaglerise LS-20-700 LI1)
From an other manufacturer, I found also a small DALI Driver. (HuaTec LS-25M-DALI)

A class CE No flicker LED driver

Very interesting link Bocian! Thanks!

I’m looking for a similar driver, flicker-free, for 6-10W 36V COB, but… dimmable with 0-10V or PWM, instead of triac dimmable. Basically a cheaper alternative to Meanwell. Got links?

In my practice, almost all dimmable AC / CC power supplies operate at high frequencies so they are flicker-free.
