Don't buy Manker -- they don't support their products

And there was me thinking about ordering my 4th Manker when I found this thread.

I have 2 E11’s, one I gave to my daughter for when she was working late, the other I ordered a nchia emitter and fitted it and with the warmer colour combined with the runtime / lumens is one of may favourite torches.

I was going to buy another E11 as I like it so much as a spare in case the other ever broke but maybe this thread has put me off, shame as I like my T01 ii as a great little pocket thrower as well.

I had a bit of a problem with manker (oops nearly put a W ) when I ordered a light with a warm led & they sent me cool white , I had a bit of a job trying to persuade them to take it back & resend what I ordered ,in the end I sent it back & got a refund through PayPal & got Paypal to cover the shipping , I won’t buy from them again.

Well, here’s the follow up: 7 months later they sent the parts and none of them work

well not as bad as Haikelite.

Been waiting for driver replacement well over a year now hahah.

never again.

Anybody happen to know of a red filter, that will fit the Manker e11?

Such a shame as they have some decent lights … didn’t they used to make the BLF A6 and then they stopped when Bangood tried to knock them down on price and they felt they couldn’t retain the level of quality at what they were prepared to pay them so declined.

I still can’t log into Mankerlight.com Anybody else have this problem?

Don’t use vaseline. Try Super Lube

Another disappointment with EDC Muscle Combo. I received an E14 III without glass and with a poorly finished bezel. Manker assured that he would send a new one along with the glass. I got a message that they will send in a few days because they have to make a new bezel with my number.

When the first impressions of the group purchase waned. Manker hasn’t been here for about two months. During this time, I sent several messages here and by email. No response. Then they suddenly appeared to announce the release of a new flashlight. Still no answer.

Say what you want, but to me it looks like they came here for our money doing group buy and then disappeared. They only came back for more mentioning a new product.

Even if I would like to get rid of and sell this combo, no one will buy a poorly finished and incomplete flashlight.

Now I am wondering whether to open a dispute on PP (I have Buyer Protection until March 9), because this is probably the only thing I can do.

My friend (OP,) you want too much. We live in a world of cheap prices, machine made products made in Chinese sweat shops. When you order from a Chinese company , its a one way transaction. There is no guarantee, no return policy, no satisfaction guarantee, no implied warranty. Nothing.

Your choice to buy it or not.

If you want all that, it does exist by a company called HDS systems. The light you paid $35 for will cost you $350.

+1

I consider ordering from China is like self-insuring my warranties. It’s cheaper in the long run. For every dud, I get 9 good things at half the price I’d pay locally. Just consider the dud as part of the cost of getting things cheaper.

Yes, you can buy an HDS or Surefire, and get an expensive under-performing light with an incredible warranty. If warranties are your thing, then you’re stuck paying for them.

I sent them an Email about one I was having a problem with and they never responded .

I give 1 chance for them to show they are fixing then I just go to dispute. Otherwise it just goes for months and they hope you go away

I’ve used PP disputes a few times, but only when I never received something. It’s a trivial dispute to win, in that case. I’ve never tried using it for warranty-type service. I figured it wouldn’t be worth the hassle with shipping and stuff like that. Is it easy?

And they are sexist too , why not call it Womenker , or Personker .

Sorry to hear about your recent experience. I had an issue a while back and Manker was very responsive to getting back to me and resolving the issue.

Guys, guys, guys, you cant win this.

If you dispute, yes you will likely win and you will be black listed from ever purchasing another product from them .

Like someone else said further up, if one out of ten lights you buy has a problem, you are ahead of the game.

To the OP- the evidence on blf seems to support your claims. I don’t own one but will stay weary as I have been recently browsing their site for a 14500 light…

Anything that arrives damaged, malfunctioning, missing parts, or not as described gets a dispute. That’s not a warranty issue. Warranty is a fall back if it fails outside of a dispute period.
If they don’t respond its a full refund, some will offer partial depending on issue but you won’t get anything if you don’t dispute.
NEVER send anything back without a prepaid return label (why pay for something they have to pay for?)

FTFY, why is it a problem if they black list your paypal? if you really want to order from them again you could use a different payment method or order from another seller.
And its not certain they will do that anyways.

buyer ’ Hey guys you sold me a broken light bulb’
seller ‘oh yea!?? here’s your money back asshole, gtfo and never come back’
buyer ‘ummm ok?’

So even if you got burned from them , you would buy again. Just under a different name? So what happens when you run out of names or run out of credit cards?

For a $35 light you want customer service, technical support, a return policy, a money back guarantee, etc. Not happening. I think you are living in LALA land.
