I like the high intensity Osram LED emitters, I’m having another light with CSLPM1.TG (personally, I prefer this over CSLNM1.TG).
I would like to see the FT03 with a native 21700 tube instead of 26650. 21700 is well established as new standard with many high quality cell types to choose from, for 26650 I do not see a big future any more.
Sure, FT03 can use 21700 with an adapter, but this increases resistance. And a tube directly adapted to 21700 would make the whole light smaller and lighter

I personally like the FT03 with the 26650 form factor, if I wanted one with a 21700 tube especially for the CSLNM1.TG or CSLPM1.TG I would get a few more K1’s in different colors =D

Interested, Is the led the 1mm die or the 2mm die,I always get confused by the names. 5700k or the 6500k tint? Thanks!

The NM1 is 1mm, and 6500K.

Osram 2mm^2 will be far better then the 1mm^2 in this light.

Curious if Astrolux will make a regulated linear-fet driver required for this light or will stick to the unregulated FET one to cut costs that will make people kill their leds using high power batteries.

interested if the price is nice:)

Any news on this yet Freeme?

Have they tested the OSRAM CSLNM1.TG in this light to assure they have selected a reflector that can properly focus the beam for maximum throw? I think its important to ask, given the way they botched up their SBT90.2 version of this same light. Maybe you can have them send a sample out to one of BLF’s rigorous capable reviewers for a pre-production shake-down to avoid dozens of flashlight returns that could have been avoided.

Thanks! :+1:
