XM-L for P60 hosts

Ok , the package arrived from KD with my XP-E empty pills :

I took the last remaining Xm-L from HK and put it in .. Nicest beam so far ..

I opened the hole [ XP-E ] so the XM-L would fit without any binding but still tight enough to look XP-E like [ or XP-G ] ..

The XP-E reflector so far seems to offer the best beam out of all the reflectors tried .. There is no loss in output and ever so slightly higher throw ...

So if your going to DIY , use the XP-E empty pill ... http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=9208 This one , just make the hole larger for the XM-L

This driver seems to be the best on offer ATM , http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=10995 and seems to work well with the XM-L

And of course , a XM-L emitter on a star no larger than 16mm for the P60 pill .

Thanks for sharing a tested combination. I have those at hand. Did you open the XP-E hole just enough for the globe of XM-L only or the LED square fully?

Just for the globe , I want the reflector to use the square as a stop , + improve heatsinking .
