Sunlikelamp.com SunLike10xss SOL Ultra High CRI E27 LED bulb (2700/3200/5000/5600K)

No. 1.1.20 it is in the usa customs. Just check tracking number

??? Even at this moment, 17track.net AND your tracking link show no change since November.

Oh I see wrong number. It is from Belpost what was sended 23.12.19 already in USA. Your from ukrpost still no =(

Do you agree mine’s lost?

No. You are not alone. 2 of 2 is in the same situation. I think that it is just so slowly shipping by ukrpost.

It is possible they are both lost. You said yourself, you expected mine to delivery in 2-4 weeks after shipment. It’s been 7+ weeks (51 days).
I’m feeling a bit stuck.

I know. To Maukka to Finland it shipped by 2 weeks. To USA still no. But it is only 1 bulb to you and to another. It is not serious reason to fuck my mind because 1 bulb. For example, because 11.11 sales from aliexpress some packages shipped after 3 month, but ussually from the same seller it shipped by 2-4 weeks. Shit happens, but it is not the reason to fuck my mind. And do it in public, I mean this forum.

There’s no reason to cuss. I haven’t said a single unkind word to you. And I have not opened any PayPal dispute. As you see from my post count if 1823, I am do a lot of talking on this forum. I value the input of BLF members. To that end, here the tracking info for anyone reading along and wanting to investigate:
Ukraine Post: RB067661181UA

All I was hoping for today was to know your plan. I can wait longer, but I want to know from you what you think is too long. The readers here on BLF know this sort of thing happens, a lot. Handle it well, and they will be impressed.

We will give a chance to ukrpost. I wrote a messange to ukrpost support, but have no answer from they yet. All what I can it is suggest to waiting 2 month after last tracking information. It is 19.1.2020 if last was 19.11. If still will not, I will do another bulb the same or some different if you want.

Yes, I think that it is fucking looong time. It was 1st and last time when I use cheap post service from ukrain post. Now it is 6$ international shipping in my site because now it is more expensive by belpost. But much faster.

That sounds fair, I like the solid game plan. Thanks. :+1:
That answers my question, and hopefully the question of future customers that have similar tracking experiences and find this thread. What happens in transit isn’t your fault

I have the same script in the “terms”, but it is by rus language.

Thank you very much for the test maukka.

I ordered some COBs in 3000 and 4000K, I have several old Samsung led bulbs which luckily use ~35V, 200mA 13.5x18mm COBs in which the sunlike 6W COBs will fit right in, plus they have a very nice aluminium heatsink :

I’ll also make some custom lights.

I made a lighting for the dining room with 4x 3000K COBs and a meanwell driver and the result is superb, the family commented how the food looked more appetizing and colorful, well before it was a classic 80CRI philips lightbulb so of course the change is probably more noticeable than with 90CRI lightbulbs that are commonly available.

I also swapped the COBs in some samsung lightbulbs as mentioned before, just needed to tap 2 holes for mounting the new COBs, quite easy. I tried to do that in the philips bulb (~76V, 170mA so good for 2x36V COBs in series) but I can’t seem to dismount the aluminium base for taping hole into it (if I do it in place some aluminium bits will fall inside the driver area, not very good I think…), maybe I could mount them with adhesive thermal paste but I don’t have that (this stuff seems to be expensive).

We tested 4000K in a few rooms but we don’t really like the colder tone, so I have some I dont use.

Do you want me to send you one maukka ? as you haven’t tested this CCT.

I sent to Maukka all CCT of 3030 6v sunlike (3000 4000 5000 5700k). But cob no.

What about tits of your wife? It is more beauty because of red spectrum (R9) ? :sunglasses:

If you mean the SOL COB at 4000K, no need. I’ve tested it now here:
Review SunLike9 SOL COB E27 LED bulb 4000K CRI99

But if you have something else. Please go ahead and PM me.

Ha you just posted it, well that’s even better :+1: .

Quick question. Took a peek at the How much time need to produce SunLike6C? video, there I see SunLike swapping the current sense resistor in a (Qihan?) led driver from an 1R15 to an 1R0? That doesn't makes sense, shouldn't it be an 2R0? I mean, if the driver outputs ≈300 mA stock current, reducing the sense resistor from 1.15 Ω to 1 Ω should result in an increase in driving current to ≈345 mA, which is about twice the datasheet driving current for a 6 W COB (180 mA)…

It is 10w Qihan 250mA. From factory it is with 1R0 or 1R05. If SAW (Korean) with about 36v, it will works with 1.2om max, it is about 216mA. If SOL with 35v, it will work with 1.5 with 7w from line. That how 7w model was born.

A bit of necroposting.

These didn’t last very long, at first we didn’t notice because the dimming was progressive, but at some point we realised it was much less illuminating than before, I checked by replacing them and the difference was huge (don’t remember exactly how much).
They were driven at 170mA which was their normal rating, the heatsink was around 50°C max.

Now I have replaced them with this which I was already using in my office for some time : https://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Lumileds/L2C5-30901211F19P0?qs=bZr6mbWTK5ldXl%252BO0rrT1w%3D%3D&countryCode=DE&currencyCode=EUR
”only” 90CRI but significantly brighter at the same power, and this is a negative duv (~-0.0040) COB so the light is very pleasant.
