I have been to most countries in Europe, hitch-hiked there or by train, and only recently sporadically by air. Being aware of the Club of Rome Report since childhood, I never travelled by plane, but since no one else around me including my government seemed to care, so my example apparently was not effective, after I became 40 I started flying occasionally to Bristol, because I have friends in Cornwall.
I think I have an idea what is going on in the world but I myself have never been outside Europe. My 9-year old son however already has been to California and to Singapore with my wife
Couple times to Canada, once passing thru to Alaska and another to BC and Alberta.
Twice to Mexico, only border towns in my youth.
A 2011 cruise to the ancient island sites in Greece started in Venice-Slovenia-Croatia-Greece-Turkey-Rome.
Planning Egypt this year.
I think of the Netherlands as the centre of the world. Been there 14 times, caught the train from Beijing one time, another time I spent $16000 in 3 weeks. But if I was to move to another country it would be Suomi.
64 if you count what was Yugoslavia before its breakup as the 7 countries they are today. I was in all those areas in the early 70’s before the breakup.
None. Won't leave my dogs, you pretty much have to be rich to travel, and with my laid back, sunny temperament (sarc) I'd promptly get arrested if TSA goons gave me a hard time. So no desire to travel-perfectly contented at home. My wife... not so much. She has her life and I have mine. I'm probably on some no-fly list somewhere anyway!

I did most of my traveling before I was 30; 40+ years ago. I was asked by a friend if I wanted to go to Europe during the coming summer. I had a job that paid well enough but I wasn’t in love with so said, sure. 20 months later I was out of savings and went home. We wandered around in an old Bedford Dormobile.

Not enough rust in that one! A little darker blue though. We got it on the Isle of Man where it had been owned by the same person since new. The years of exposure to salt air made everything rust if it wasn’t painted or plated and scratch-free. The backside of the dashboard was surprisingly (to me) rusty as I found once when I was troubleshooting some fault.
Only 3: Canada, Philippines, and Peru. Not counting some of the sovereign Native American nations I’ve driven through, since they are wholly enclosed within US borders.
More than a few were on Uncle Sam’s dime. I probably missed a couple…

At home everywhere (and nowhere). I have lived abroad for longer than in the country of which I have a passport.
Had to look at a list of countries of the world to ‘remember’ all the different places I once visited for work, or leisure. 59 in total, not including the city state Vatican City, the Caribbean islands Saba, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustachius and the complete coastline from what was once Yugoslavia (and now several different countries).
Still have most of my old passports and will check to see how many entry/departure stamps I can find.
None. Only the one where I was born.

Around 24. I don’t remember exactly. My wife’s been to more than 70.
I was born in Texas, so that’s one, then I went to the United States, so that is two so far, then the ones in Europe, and Canada and Mexico of course.
Couple times to Canada, once passing thru to Alaska and another to BC and Alberta.

Nine countries.
Though born and raised in Nl, the missus and I love France.
So basically the countries adjacent to France.
You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

Just England and France. I spend all my money on my wife, kids, and flashlights
Not much left for travel.

I count about 60.
I wonder how different some of the places I've been are today like Beirut,Corfu and Rhodes than in1962.
I was in Jerusalem when it was part of Jordan.

Zero for me as well.
My family won an all-expense-paid trip to the Bahamas, and we changed our free vacation to Hawaii.
I did enjoy our Hawaiian vacation immensely as it was the best vacation I ever went on.
I do not like to travel far via any method, and I will probably never leave the United States.

Yes! Ours was a ’58, IIRC. Medium blue with a white accent side slash. It was cool. You could drive with the door slid open. Happy memories!

The number depends… Does Texas count as its own country?
(it seems to be a matter of much debate)
Besides my own it’s 33, most of them with work although I do take vacations after the job is done from time to time. In a month or so it will be 34.
