Flashlight Host and Uncommon Budget Flashlights

Thanks.
Looks like electronics are junk. But as a host it doesn’t seem bad for the price.
I wonder how much would it weigh if the magnetic charging was removed…because stock it seems lighter than Skilhunt H03. :+1:

Lighter than Skilhunt H03 ??? It’s 90gr!!! Skilhunt h03 44gr.!

Hmm I think I’ve seen 90 g with battery in the fonarevka thread.

I see…a heavy host with useless electronics does not sound so good.

D10 - 54gr ;))

“Raccoon head”??

Found this new accessory for HC33 while browse that budget headlamp.

Small host with USB-C and 3A driver.

Looks nice, but any info on the UI? Goggled around, nothing of substance.

Mem? Nomem? Start-on-low? H→L? L→H? Etc.

I vaguely recall OTRs liked to start on medium (MLH), which is definitely what I don’t want.

The diameter is 2.15cm and 16340? For me it’s a dealbreaker.

Saw that, and clicking on [View operation video :arrow_forward:] did nothing (not even a little finger-thing showing it’s clickable).

And plenty of times, They™ just list the various levels/modes but without specifying direction or start. So, great, 1/3/4 “gears”, but that’s it.

For 25-30bux, I don’t want another Box Queen sitting unused.

Case in point:

Switch Mode: High/Middle/Low

Implies mode order is H→L. :confounded:

It has been reviewed a while ago by TrailTrek, and I have it under sight for some months now, but money aint enough for everything!
The only thing he wasn’t able to show was the way to change group modes…

I saw this store on AliExpress and they sell real copper and brass flashlights that are really good quality flashlights the best I’ve ever bought from China. Check out what all they have.

I’m not affiliated in any way with this store just think they have the most unique selection ive seen on AliExpress.
I’ve asked them if they would see if they can sell these other flashlights and they’re suppose to be finding out if they can.

Interesting family of budget flashlights / floodlights:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000405276485.html

They take 18650 cells and the longer ones fit more of them.

And a similar family of lights with a few features too many:

A similar looking light is sold on Amazon. Amazon.ca

The reviews seem ok but I can’t tell if the cells are replaceable. Seems the back part is aluminum so it should shed heat decently.

I bought one of the 22cm ones with 36 led’s, also ordered a pack of 4000k 2835 leds. Planning on swapping out all of the leds the driver for something anduril based.

Thanks Agro.

Please report back.
