Low Price for a Lumintop Tool 2.0 Ti?

Got a “full” refund. Sadly all prices on FT are in USD. And in NL we use € on a daily base.
So PP held on to the currency exchange fees, in both directions. It won’t break the bank, but it doen’s make me any happier.

Nevertheless, it could have been a fantastic deal.
So thanks for the heads up (no not being cynical, this time). Keep them coming :+1:

It was well worth the gamble.

I remember a similar pricing mistake on an Utrafire M5 a couple of years ago that was I believe 18 dollar but advertised for 1.23 dollar. I believe the (reasonable IMO) solution was that everyone who ordered a bunch could have one for the low price, the rest full price or cancelled. I still have mine somewhere, it is a nice AAA twisty.

No refund as of 3/16/20 9:00 PM EST.
Site said 1-2 days after cancelling on 3/11/20.
Also, sent back email to cancel and refund even earlier on 3/11/20.
Just opened PayPal dispute.

I am glad some of you got immediate refunds and have good experience with this vendor.
I am now 0 for 2 with FASTTECH. First one was a REALLY bad experience and I should not have jumped on this “to good to be true” deal, but thought they might be dumping old stock before revised design was released.
Shame on me…but NEVER again.
:rage:

After multiple emails asking if it shipped with no response I emailed one last time to just refund my and cancel the order. Of course no response from Fasttech so I filed a dispute with Paypal, before I even recieved the email from Paypal I recieved an email from Fasttech saying the order was canceled and I had a refund at that point. I almost think they never had any intent to ship the light or refund me. They were just waiting for me to file a dispute before they issued a refund.

I’ve witnessed a mutitude of similar ads of US origin which were declared an error and never processed beyond refund.

No refund yet for me either.

I just received a refund.
The status was waiting to be shipped, i was hoping that they would let it thru, but they didn’t

I got a refund, but I lost almost $2 because of the exchange rate recalculations. This amount is not critical to me at all, but unfortunately it is all very similar to fraud. Besides, those discounts on the site 70% or more, turned out to be a fraud.

I was refunded my full amount. I was thinking that I’d keep Fasttech in mind for future orders, but this whole sale thing people have been talking about, where the discount price shown is actually just the discount, not the final price, makes me wonder about their business practices. Maybe this incident wasn’t an accident either. I’ll be keeping my money for now…

I told them if my refund was less than my original payment I would invoice them for the amount they owe me since it was their mistake.

I’d file a dispute, $2, $200, $.02,the amount doesn’t matter. They owe you your money. Actually they owe all of us the light tbh. It’s not our fault they made a mistake, it’s theirs we shouldn’t have to suffer for them. Just one more reason not to deal with shady Asian companies.

Fasttech, Bangood, Aliexpress, etc. I’ll never order from them again.

i have asked them if they could give us BLF memebers a good price for a groupbuy, let’s see what they come up with

I bought a lot and buy different goods in Chinese online stores. The most important reason is a good price with satisfactory or even very good quality. I always understand that these are risks and good if it turns out to get the money back if something went wrong. If I want a guarantee, I will use the services of local dealers, although it will be much more expensive. I will not demand compensation for the difference, in dollars they returned the correct amount, problem in conversion and fluctuations of the local currency. And on this particular store, I very much doubt that I will use his services. Very bad impressions remained.

same experience here

glad your refund went through promptly once you filed a dispute

I recommend everyone else do the same, file a dispute, if you have not received a refund yet

as far as currency losses, those fees are income for Paypal, not Fasttech

it seems customers who paid in USA dollars (like me), did not have currency exchange fees.
my refund was full, to the penny, no fees

I see no reason to buy that light, because I Hate PWM, unless you plan to just use the host and replace the driver. I only learned of the PWM after my order or would not have joined in, so Im glad it cancelled, and I will not join a group buy.

Yeah, I canceled the order and reordered the 311. Got an email asking if they should just refund the difference and they’d throw in a free gift(?), but I wrote back what I did. No prob, refund went through, also to the penny.

Still annoyed I didn’t get the lights, but at least I’m not out anything.

The last time I saw a deal too good to be true was Gearbest selling the Lumintop (again) SD75 for something like $35 or so. People got a refund quickly…

I don’t know why they did this. They loose money because of Paypal fees

Someone entering prices on a keypad enters a ‘1’(0.38) instead of a ‘4’(0.38), and all Hell breaks loose.

Paypal dispute will get you a refund way quicker than waiting for fastech to do it , I got fed up waiting but after I filed a dispute i got a refund within two days.

Deeply, deeply saddened beyond belief Wow dude, maybe you shouldn’t cancel your order, it might ruin your entire year from the sounds of it
