Nothing much, been distracting myself with video games (GOG has a good sale going for those interested) and re-running some great Youtube series like Brave Dave’s Big Fat Freight Hop.
It’s especially frustrating because my city has a curfew going - get caught outside after 20:00 and you’re in bother - and my apartment complex is so well-lit, light seeps into the flat, so I have no real use for my flashlights. After this is done I’m so taking a trip to a rural area.
We are not quarantined but our governor has declared that we should stay home unless we need something essential.
Neither of us has been to a store for over a week. Yesterday I walked 8.5 miles (13.7 km) for the exercise and to consume some time; around the fence line. I read a book; a Kindle from library; “The Splendid and the Vile”. I ordered 2 delivery meals from our favorite restaurant in town and had them delivered to the women’s domestic violence shelter.
Today will be a repeat, more or less. We are also practising some “”döstädning”:Amazon.com. At 73, I/we have amassed a lot of stuff. :person_facepalming: All the more so since we’ve lived in the same place since 1985. On my plan for today is a large drawer full of maps and travel info that I am certain has not been looked at in a decade or so.
Did a bit of hypothetical planning for an expensively impractical idea. Anyone know how much space (height) there is for the driver and reflector of the convoy S21A?
If there’s about 3.5cm or more, you could slide a NUBM-44V2 into it and power it from two 18350s.
Incredibly dangerous but a fun concept. That diode is usually mounted in massive, 2X26650 hosts for the thermal mass but I think you could get away with putting it in a small host and just running it on a short duty cycle.
I’d also replace the reverse clicky tail switch with a forward clicky. Anyhow, too expensive a project, and also too danger and impractical for all but a select few uses.
I got to the supermarket at the door unlocking and picked up bread, milk, eggs, chopped meat for a meatloaf and a six pack of Texas Craft Beer.
In the garage I reloaded about a 1000 .357 target loads and another thousand .44mag target loads in the afternoon.Yeap I'm a pre lock S&W revolver guy.Carried a Model 10 for 20 years.
After a late lunch spent some time playing a few FPS on the desktop that I haven't played in years. They worked OK on W10 Pro;Crysis and the Metro games.
I'm not much of a TV guy but do like a few dramas on the computer like Amazon's Bosch which BTW will have it's new season 6 released on April 17th.
There's no MLB to watch to help me fall asleep so it's Amazon Prime Video.
Tomorrow I'll trim my wife and sons hair and the wife will do mine.My son(22 tomorrow)and at home from university is not completely on board yet!
