You missed me

Please count me in for one.
Thanks

Ooops you’re right I did. I added you to the list between post 421 and 423. You won’t show up on the next “updates to the list” comment but will be shown correctly in the 2 Excel spreadsheets (i.e. slotted between 421 and 423).

!

How much would be the cost, bare unit, and kit?

Interested in 1 piece LT1M-Mini Lantern

Thanks DBSAR for developing a mini lantern as well.

I doubt that’s known yet

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I just watched the video and it looks like the top, lantern portion either is or easily could be threaded on to the flashlight portion, such that it could be easily removed. And the remainder of the flashlight still has an optic and everything so that it could be used like a normal flashlight with the lantern portion removed. If possible, that dual functionality would certainly make it a more appealing option for backpacking purposes. And I think it’d also be a great selling point for those who might not see themselves using a dedicated lantern that often but would appreciate getting a solid light that also offers lantern functionality should it be needed. Everything could still be optimized for lantern purposes while leaving a solid flashlight, right? Is that or could it be part of the plan?

To take that idea a step further, maybe the stability plate for the bottom could have a slightly raised area to center the light that the lantern portion could also screw into, so they could be easily stored together when the light is being used as a flashlight. It looks like the lantern portion goes around, rather than inside the bezel, so the inner diameter of the raised area could match the diameter of the bottom of the flashlight, while the outer matches the bezel and has a couple threads for the lantern. But it could potentially also work with the inside being threaded if the lantern portion attaches inside the bezel. This would also help prevent any gunk from getting into the lantern portion while it is removed.

Interested in 1 piece, thanks!

Thanks Funtastic. So, I’m interested for one (for now) please.

Imho the above are excellent suggestions.

Since the optic is already inside the device, no good reason seems to exist for the diffuser to be non-removable, unless a decision has been made to deliberately preclude a dual (lantern & flashlight) use possibility.

It would be good to get a definitive answer as to whether the diffuser will in fact be removable, unless the issue is taboo for one reason or another.

I’m definitely interested in two (2) of the LT1M!
