[M4D deal] Nightwatch NI40 with Luminus SBT90 Gen2 interest list OPEN

Did supply ever get sorted with these? , i waited, and waited and waited, eventually got a refund but not flashlight :frowning:

It still shows Sold Out on Neal’s website, so probably not. Two weeks ago Vinh at Sky Lumen had difficulties getting stock from his suppliers, but was able to find some. It looks like we will wait to order until they are available, which might eliminate the kind of problems these other guys are having with their orders.
Patience is a virtue.

How many meters of throw does this light have?

I saw Three measurements on this thread:

Shockli-185Kcd=890m/940yds.

Another member:

Shockli 217Kcd/932m/1020yds

Golisi-237Kcd=974m/1065yds.

I am using Golisi and Aspire which are supposedly the same cell.

They did not specify Turn On OR ANSI[30 Sec.] My Guess is turn on numbers.

Is that the groupbuy price?

Does this light still have switch issues?

I got mine last November and it did not have a switch issue.

no - shipping prices raised quite a bit

Ordered. Thanks Martin & Neal.

My switch works fine.

I’ll be buying another one for my brother. Bad ass light.

FYI, it takes a while for delivery. Have not received mine yet, it sat in LA for over two weeks… wonder if that was time for COVID19 to die before being handled. Anyway, should get it soon.

I got my second one a few days ago. Pretty happy with it. I bought it for my brother but now I want to keep it…

I’m not sure what batch this is but it looks like they’ve improved since my first one. It must be using a higher bin because it is noticeably brighter. Has a little warmer tint. Looks like it has a new driver, maybe that’s the difference.

I have yet to test it against my older one but I’ll do a ceiling bounce test and measure for candela tonight.

I use a cordura 1 ltr water carrier to carry and give overall protection for lights of this general size. Here’s one I use next to a growing SBT90.2 collection.

The switch works perfectly, no problems getting into turbo.

It seems like it’s a difficult emitter to tame. The beam is as expected for a reflector of this size.

The Virus can NOT last on a box from over seas to USA. Saw a program on that with medical doctors.A recent study has also found that coronavirus can live on cardboard up to 24 hours.

The risk more so arises between pickup by the delivery person, drop off at the home and thereafter.

“Even if your delivery person or mail carrier isn’t experiencing symptoms, they still may be carrying the virus and unknowingly spreading bacteria,” Dr. Frank adds. “If you’re touching items that someone else has recently handled, be aware of possible contamination and take preventative measures to protect yourself and your family.”

It took 5 days from the time mine started in China until it got to LA.No worries/no risk. They are either overwhelmed with packages or short handed. The delay has Nothing to do with the Fear of spreading the virus via packages from China.

People get quarantined Not packages.

Anyway, My Noctigon K1 has been in LA for what now is day Eight.Because of your experience and others it appears I may be waiting even longer.

Hope you get your soon and mine also!

UK delivery of Noctigon K1 SBT90.2 and also NI40 SBT90.2 appeared not to have suffered bad delays.

Have both now and interesting to do a bean comparison, esp. if including the K90 GT.

In my visual observation of the NI40 and K30 GT they both performed the same including their step down when I was walking outside. I know the Acebeam is better on paper but I sold it and kept the NI40 because it was much easier to hold and pocket.

Yes I get that. I can see myself picking up the NI40 more, at least for handling reasons. There is no doubt that the host’s ability to manage heat is up there with the best. Comparing the hotspots - appears very nearly to be the same intensity as k90 GT. The NI40 tint on my one is slightly warmer than my K30 GT. Maybe individual variance - may be supplier/ batch variance.

Mine appears to be lost, no updates since it was handed off in LA over two weeks ago.

And yes Baron, but I did not say it had virus for the previous two weeks awaiting handoff. I figured it was thrown in a pile and others thrown on top of it until the space was full and then they waited a day and started sorting from the top of the pile… or something like that, LOL. I know I am not so privileged that my box would get individual service, hey, i’ve been around the block a few times too. So I will wait a while and then try to rattle some cages. Glad others are receiving theirs now.

Mine was in LA for several weeks as well. Eventually I got an update that showed movement, and about a week later it arrived.
