sounds exactly what i had in mid Feb. you’ll be ok in few weeks, but complete recovery may take 6 or more weeks.

It’s good to know you’re feeling a bit better now. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hey DBSAR, just saw this thread. Sucks that you got the virus, but great to hear that you’re on the mend.

Thoughts are with you, along with all of the others here. Hang in there, you’ve got a lot of support!!

I wish you a speedy recovery …take care DBSAR

Den,

Many have reported feeling better right before getting worse. There are breathing exercises that help your lungs intake more oxygen you can find on YouTube. Also when you rest, lay on your stomach as much as possible. The majority of your lungs are closer to your back. When you lay on your back the mucus the virus creates oozes down. Laying on your front side helps prevent this. Prayers hope you continue to feel better.

Hope you recover soon from this!

Nights have been worse, with coughing and wheezing, but the thing i feel helps the most is lots of fluids, (water & orange juice) and staying warm. its gradually getting better fortunately, but the last week or two have taken a lot out of me, i feel like i was run over by a train., Twice.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

I pray for your speedy recovery.

updates, May,07,2020 ) It has been a few weeks of hell, but slowly recovering. I hope to be back soon, to pick up and finish getting the design for the LT1-mini rolling hopefully. with being ill, loosing my job due to the COVID-19 pandemic, financial burden, everything going bad, its has been difficult.

Hi, Den! It’s good to hear that you’re recovering, even if it’s slow progress.

My BLF LT1 is used every evening for several hours on the lowest candle mode. I’m amazed at how long it can go without charging while using four 3000 mAh cells.

The LT1 quickly became one of my favorite lights, and I’m very grateful for all your efforts in bringing it to life. :+1:

Hang in there, and try to stay positive.

Thanks for the update Den. Man, that sure sounds rough. I sincerely hope things start looking up for you on all fronts. Please check in here as circumstances permit.

I hope for better days ahead for you.

good news that you survived and improving, lost job is a bad news, you build beautiful lights, works of art, like no one else builds, have you thought about turning into a side business? probably not gonna replace your day job, but it could supplement, and take your mind of negative things.

Being sick and loosing your job - that really sucks! Glad you’re starting to feel better though.

Den, I am so glad to hear you are recovering. I wish you all the best for a full recovery and hope it does not drag on very long. As long as you can see improvement, even slowly, that is great. Take good care of yourself. We all want more flashlights and lanterns.

Den, I’m so very sorry to hear that you contracted the dreaded COVID-19, but relieved to know that you’re out of the worst of it on the road to full recovery. 2020 is turning out to be the worst year thus far in 21st century. I really hope 2021 finds us all in much better shape, both in health and financials! I too am not doing well in the finance area. I didn’t get COVID-19, but discovered I have high blood pressure after a scary incident of profuse nosebleeds & now having to take meds for it.

Once i can sell my house and move back to the wilderness in Newfoundland as i planed, i do plan to really expand my DBSARlight YouTube channel to try to make some income from there too. Flashlights, lanterns, and off-grid lighting and off-grid living is my top interest.
