What about other host colors? I think Sofirn should be able to produce green or desert tan colors.
NSX3 is a pretty chunky light so that might account for the higher numbers. The UI on some versions was apparently pretty bad though, it’s what kept me away from any of the Nightwatch lights.
The knurling/cuts on the body look very “Thorfire-ish” which would mean Sofirn OEM. Mateminco did make the TK01/Astrolux FT01 which is pretty similar to this though too so who knows. I’m not aware of Sofirn being the OEM for any Astrolux lights but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been.
Looks nice. Would like to see its business-end.
If there is be a possibility of the EC03 with 3xSST-40 or XP-L HI I would be very interested in those, much more than 3xXHP50.2
The SP33 V3 and EC01s reflectors, bezels and port covers are identical so it’s probably made by Sofirn. I asked Mateminco once and they said they don’t make it.
Ah good to know. Probably not a coincidence that once the EC01 was released the SP33 v3 w/3V XHP50B soon followed, wonder if the drivers or some components are shared too.
