What is so special about it to justify the price tag? Is it powered by plutonium? :person_facepalming:

Build quality.
Also it’s an HID light which makes it a bit more complex than just an LED flashlight.

yea, to take ma deuce 50 cal recoil time after time and keep on ticking requires well above average build quality and engineering,

Their warehouse sells these a couple times per year for half price. Even at that it’s hard to justify the cost relative to other more powerful and cost effective lights.

I know it seems great but what is your intended use or need? We might be able to suggest something better.

  • I'm a collector. I already have a ph50d, lx70 (big head and small), maxabeam and many others. I just don't have a hellfighter yet. I'm aware this is a budget forum, just looking to see if anyone had one. I'm also looking on cpf.

I had one for sale. Pristine conditions and comes with the Orange + IR filter. I installed the weapon mounting quick release attachment to use with a battery pack undearneath. XT60 connector so Can be powered from any 12v source.

The only issue is I have no possible way to ship it to you. Tried selling before and the customs classify it as a weapon accessory, so it cannot be shipped out. Well technically it is a weapon accessory. With the old regulations in place I sold one to a member here and he modded it into a thrower beast, passed the customs as a “vehicle light”, can’t do that now.

Having said that, this is obviously not a regular flashlight for lighting up everyday tasks. It was designed to withstand the recoil of an automatic 50 cal and survive in extreme combat environments, it is absolutely overbuilt and everything is potted inside. I used to collect surefire lights back when it was the hot stuff in CPF, these were far more available than now.

They were $300-500 back then but I think they’re worth a lot more now. Specially if they haven’t seen action.

Unfortunately there is no such case, only flashlight
