.

I hope for better days ahead for you.

good news that you survived and improving, lost job is a bad news, you build beautiful lights, works of art, like no one else builds, have you thought about turning into a side business? probably not gonna replace your day job, but it could supplement, and take your mind of negative things.

Being sick and loosing your job - that really sucks! Glad you’re starting to feel better though.

Den, I am so glad to hear you are recovering. I wish you all the best for a full recovery and hope it does not drag on very long. As long as you can see improvement, even slowly, that is great. Take good care of yourself. We all want more flashlights and lanterns.

Den, I’m so very sorry to hear that you contracted the dreaded COVID-19, but relieved to know that you’re out of the worst of it on the road to full recovery. 2020 is turning out to be the worst year thus far in 21st century. I really hope 2021 finds us all in much better shape, both in health and financials! I too am not doing well in the finance area. I didn’t get COVID-19, but discovered I have high blood pressure after a scary incident of profuse nosebleeds & now having to take meds for it.

Once i can sell my house and move back to the wilderness in Newfoundland as i planed, i do plan to really expand my DBSARlight YouTube channel to try to make some income from there too. Flashlights, lanterns, and off-grid lighting and off-grid living is my top interest.

Thanks Don, its been a hell of a few weeks.

2020 is a year i want to reset & forget…

Thank you SB, it has been rough, and miss working on lights and the LT1 projects. i hope to get back to that soon.

it is a really bad year for many of us… :weary:

Off grid living in the wilderness sounds like an amazing goal to shoot for. That’s pretty far from the realm of possibility for me. Closest I can get to it is the occasional camping trip.

I’m glad to hear you’re pulling though this. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

Remember, Den, the most important thing is your health, and I can speak for all of us when I say I am very glad you are getting better. That is what matters most, and although other things may be difficult, I am confident it will all work itself out, and you will turn the corner. Again, all the best to you. Hang in, and keep in touch.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, sad to hear about the job loss and financial burden. Just remember when one door closes in your life another door opens! Sometimes even two doors open!

Glad to hear you are on the mend, so sad to hear of your financial worries, extra burden when you least need it - the main thing is you are recovering now.

Been following /r/covid19positive on Reddit… Seems like its recovery is a long way for many… anyway, get well soon…

Get well soon Den. I hope all your bad luck will run out soon.
If it works for you, I see your youtube channel from the wilderness becoming a great succes, at least I’m looking forward to it a lot, love your video’s sofar

I’ve begun to tire of the “metropolis” life. I find I don’t really take advantage of it much these days. It didn’t turn out to be as much of a social advantage as I’d hoped—much of that is “exclusive” in various circles of social and economic standing. And even after the #Pandemic has subsided, it will be worse. I’m toying with the idea of going to the rural north, where going off grid is more feasible… Maybe New Hampshire.

Glad your feeling better DSBAR. I’m really sorry to hear about your job lost :frowning:

Hope you get over all the Corvid effects soon.

My best wishes for a strong recovery Dbsar. Take care and heal up, I love my Blf lt1 btw, thank you.
