A Bridge Too Far
No country for old men. My wife doesn’t understand why i have to watch it at least once a month. Come to think of it, neither can I! Cold pursuit, the predator, and hotel artemis follows right behind
Anton Chigurh. What a character, so well played by Javier Bardem. I really wished there was a sequel that focused more on him. But wow, once a month? I see it about once or twice a year, sometimes just certain scenes.
So given how you’ve seen it so many times, I imagine you must have thought about how Moss could’ve taken out Chigurh and lived. My beef is about how stupid Moss was with the case. You never keep money in the original case in which it was found! Tracker be damned. If I was him, that cash would’ve gone into a duffel bag, after a thorough check of each bill stack (verify all money is authentic, check for any foreign objects).
Agreed, a great movie. Edward Norton really shines—quite impressive. Geer gives a fine performance too.
I saw Inside Man (2006).
It's very good.
The acting is excellent, as is the music.
It's not your typical bank robbery movie.
Figuring out what is really happening made the film all the more interesting.
It's a great mystery movie.
For me, I think Eastwoods “The Outlaw Josie Wales” is tops for Clint. They lay out the actual sides of the conflict very capably although the reality was much more violent. Pre-dating ISIS by over 100 years, Bloody Bill Anderson’s running mate/fellow warrior, Archie, made some notable real world art by beheading and posing their enemy’s with the heads on the chests.
Princess Bride is great, as is Downfall (the Hitler movie down in German W/subtitles). And all of the Indiana Jones, Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and The Godfather series are topnotch for me as well.
I saw Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (2001).
You should watch it after watching Cowboy Bebop, the TV series, otherwise you won't know the main characters at all.
The TV series has only twenty episodes, and there is just one movie.
The TV series and the movie have excellent acting and music.
The writing is also superb.
All of it is originally in Japanese, but there are English dubbed versions, which is what I watched, and the English versions are amazing.
Out of all of the anime that I have seen, I like Cowboy Bebop the most.
If you've never gotten into anime, I would start with CB.
On to the movie.
The beginning of the movie has some sorta slow parts, but the last two thirds are golden.
Overall, I love the movie, just like I love the TV series.
I wish there was more CB to watch, and as a side note, I've always wanted a Corgi because of CB, and I have had Corgi since 2008.
The animation of the Corgi in CB is very accurate, and as it turns out Corgis are an excellent breed if you don't mind having a short dog.
You would really have to hate anime to not thoroughly enjoy Cowboy Bebop.
Two Lane Blacktop
Hoffa
Goodfellas
Gran Torino
Tin Men
Mystic River
The Departed
Masterpiece if you ask me. I like to watch it again and again time to time.
Goodfellas (1990)
with unforgettable restaurant entrance scene.
It never gets old.
RIP Michael Ballhaus, you’ll be remembered.

Some of my favorites include:
- The Terminator
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
- The Blues Brothers
- Caddyshack
- Jurassic Park
Hmm, just noticed my list is similar to the OP.
Jaws.
Another must see masterpiece. Das Boot (1981) 10/10
Directing, acting and camera work is brilliant. Watching that movie you have claustrophobic feeling being trapped with those man deep under sea surface. When one of most experienced sailors, Johann breaks and wants to leave a boat 200m under sea level you want to leave boat with him.
I saw that movie many times, gives me thrills every time.
I recommend to watch uncut edition.

The Untouchables. The staircase scene was ahead of it’s time in my opinion.
American Psycho
Training Day
Breaking Bad - El Camino (+ the show)
Hell Or High Water

I saw Crawl (2019).
I really like this movie.
The music is excellent, and the acting is very good, especially for a horror movie.
The plot is pretty simple, but the movie is entertaining to watch -- it's not boring.
I actually cared about the main characters.
The title of the movie is very fitting, which is a nice touch.
Finally, the CGI is done well, which is great for a creature feature.
Truly an excellent movie. That long steadicam shot was ground breaking. It inspired a few others to leverage it, as with “Birdman.”
blues brothers
the jerk
animal house
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
I saw Deliver Us from Evil (2014).
This horror movie is done very well.
The acting is top notch, and the music is great.
The plot is a bit generic, however the movie is executed excellently.
It's kinda weird watching Joel McHale in a serious role, yet he did a great job as did the other actors.
There is an intense scene that seems to drag on for too long, but otherwise I really like this film.
