Homebuild 400W, 42k lumen, 60min runtime, 95+ CRI flashlight, 5600K

Hi guys, wanted to share my now home build.

I’s not the prettiest light I’ve made, but its the one I like the most.
Currently this one has no reflector or lense, so it’s almost 180 flood light.

It consist of:

- 2 Marswalled COBs, each 200W, 5600K nad 95+ CRI

- 2 “1800W” chinasium boost drivers (one for each LED)

- 2 high TPD CPU heatsinks

- 1 buck driver for the heatsink fans

  • 2 6S LiPo 10000mAh packs

Do you guys know any good lenses or reflectors I could buy to direct the beam?

Mabe look for some cylindrical or oval lenses so that you can flatten the beam, you’d get more throw while still keeping the wide output.
Nice build though.
I would have used citizen COBs instead, some can do over 70k lumens per LED, lower CRI though.
This would be the ideal COB for both output and CRI, but it’s super expensive YUJILEDS® CRI 95+ High Power 1500W Flip Chip COB LED 3200K 5600K - 900 — YUJILEDS High CRI Webstore

I think these are Citizen chips. Marswalled buys them from Citizen.
They might be second grade though…

The truth is I didn’t go with Yuji cause of price, too high end for me.

I managed to snag these on amazon when Marswalled posted them for incorect price.
I think I paid 12$ for each. They immediately changed the price after my purchase,
but they did ship them (and sent me an email that they will honor the purchase).

Thats why I went eith these COBs.

$12 instead of $120?
Haha that’s great
