B
I choose A design in red. Very pretty
B
I gotta go with A.
I always liked the “spline” knurling of the Zanflare F1, so right there is a huge nod to group A.
Plus, the B knurling looked to me like regular diamond-cut knurling, as in “usual”.
Of course, with both groups, nutty people like me would just haaaaaaaaave to have one of each…
B
(though if the straight groove running the length of the battery tube was removed, A might look a lot nicer)
I do as well. The Zanflare is a much finer pitch though, and looks much better IMO
Any good idea how to name the blue-gray color?
No picture visible; seems you need to be logged into TLF to see it.
Anyway, “Slate” is a nice blue-gray color.
BLAY..Powder blue ..Ashy...Not blue ...bluish .Bloozie. bashfully blue, GrayBies, GGRRRabies . Bit-a-blue
B --- > spirals are too slippery
I like the look of A more as well.
Gotta go with A. It looks much more distinctive. It’s too easy to pass B off for some ultra-cheap no-name.
Also, I’m with Lightbringer…. Picture is missing for those of us not logged into TLF. But depending on the shade, “Slate” is good descriptor of blue-grey.
A, due to its unique look.
I saw on Skilhunt site that there is that new triple AAA listed, new model E3A is here: E3A AAA 100 lumens Pocket EDC Keychain Mini LED Flashlight – LED Headlamp │ Tactical Flashlight
But the Hi Cri version is out of stock
It’s smaller than I expected; even a hair smaller than the smallest AAA light I own, the Olight i3E EOS. Tech specs are amazingly similar, though styling is much different (I like it!). I also appreciate the option of different LEDs.
Sklihunt E3A | Olight i3E EOS | |
Length | 59.5 mm | 60.5 mm |
Head diameter | 14.0 mm | 14.0 mm |
Body diameter | 12.8 mm | 12.5 mm |
Lumens | 100 | 90 |
Runtime, alkaline | 45 m | 45 m |
Runtime, NiMH | 75 m | 70 m |
Haha the design is similar of Olight Also I liked more Honeycomb TIR optics like in H03.
Seems like the option A prevailed afterall, and it turned out very nicely
EDITED
I mistyped the alkaline runtime in the Olight (corrected now). They’re pretty much the same on runtimes for each chemistry, though the Olight doesn’t mention lithium primaries.
Thanks gchart! I just edited my post too! :+1:
Still, it seems that this Skilhunt light is very good to be run on lithium primaries! Longer runtimes
I have some Ni-MH laying around, through, so I won’t probably invest on primaries.
Midnight blue. And I like knurling type A better.
