Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

Very nice!!!

As is the trident :+1:
Got a lume shot now. was supposed to be 2 colour Swiss Luminova C3 on the face and BGW9 on the Bezel but it’s all BGW9, which to be fair is nicer, and it’s different from my citizen promaster which uses both, BGW9 on the face and the other on the hands/ 60 minute mark on bezel. Pretty sure it’s the best £179 I’ve spent lol. I would like a see thru case back though - I would assume the bodu is the same size as a Seiko, so it’s doable theoretically.
!!

That’s a pretty one, congratulations! :+1:
This will be a hard time for my wallet since they’ve also released a new steel version in green!

Thanks :+1:
The guy who sells them is really nice, I asked if he could source a display case back and he’s going to try to get one for me that we know will fit from China, he also said since I’d now bought 1 watch, if I wanted any more later on to email him and he’d give me a discount. That was welcome, since they are already pretty cheap for UK stock from a UK shop with a real 1 year warranty lol.
I wasn’t sure about the leather strap , but it’s softened up quite quick and is very comfortable, plus it is actually leather, since my dog wants to eat it up! smells like a brand new leather coat.

PRG-300. I like orange
!

AQS800W today.

Have a safe Saturday guys, suns out what more could one ask for…………living in the UK!

@weklund:

That's a stunning looking watch.

If I didn't have a thing for digital watches, I might be interested.

Thank you, sir. This Zixen LE has fast become one of my favorite dive watches.

wle

I am sad to say that Zixen closed their doors in 2018.

See the attached explanation post at Watchuseek:

These fine watches are a very rare find these days. I highly recommend the Zixen brand as I have owned a few for many years.

Good luck to all with your quest to find one of these beauties.

I missed this, i really…….REALLY like this, very nice and looks to be awesome value! Love it, very tempting.

Weklund as always a spectacular piece, i love your collection.

Seiko landshark time for me

Nice watches . I got interested in watches when I read Dr. No back in the 60’s. It said James Bond wore a Rolex Submariner .

That started a long journey though 100’s of cheap watches and 5 dollar Rolex copies from Chinatown in NYC . Eventually landing on a Submariner in Stainless and gold when I was in my 40’s . It cost $5,800. I think I wore it twice in the last 25 years

I also bought a bunch of other watches along the way because I have OCD . Which is why I now have too many flashlights since joining this forum .

I lived on the watchuseek.com web site checking out the “deals” section

OCD is a cruel mistress , Watches , flashlights , guns , knives , swords , tomahawks , medieval helmets , gas masks .

I worry about what will be next .

Amen …

I feel your regrets, and believe everybody goes thru a bought of it in some form or another, especially “neat” stuff. You are just a more experienced choir preacher. lol
I’m glad I paired down my inexpensive collection, before my target market went belly up. Now I’m more discerning before a purchase.

I buy one at a time. With an Omega Seamaster I bought back in 1959 in Germany (In the UK Army)
That’s my dress watch.
Used a Seiko 200m Diver. but shook it to death at work. Good watch.

But after trying (recommended by Clockmaker mate). A Citizen.
Now on Second one. First one. again Died at work. Heavy Machinery operator and set up.

Never looked back.
Wear 24 hrs a day apart from in shower. 21 yrs just ticking over.
Ecodrive solar face. NEVER touched it NO battery. Time drifts back minimally.

Like he said. Keep your watch temp constant. A good one will stay constant.
Adjusted a coupla seconds twice (Maybe 3?times, in the 20 odd yrs.

This one, all divers. Has a fourth finger on there.
rotates slower than others.
One day… I’ll find out what it’s for.
