Thanks HKJ.

Thanks for the review.

This battery is still not in your comparator.

Fixed.

Thanks.

The Unprotected Brand named Sanyo GA has significantly LESS voltage sag starting at 3A. At 10A the XTAR version can not even make a voltage curve. I expected the UP GA to be better but not that much better.

Remember that protection adds a series resistor, usually with about 0.1 to 0.2V (Depends on the chip used) drop at the over current trig point.

Thanks HKJ! Looks pretty much in line with the Keeppower with just slightly less aggressive protection.

Thanks! Hoping to see more reviews of Xtar batteries soon.

In particular I have the Xtar 4200mAh 21700 and the Xtar 800mAh 14500, and would like to know how they perform.
(The Xtar 4200mAh 21700 are quite good in my personal experience, probably just a little bit worse than Samsung 40T, but the size/dimension of the Xtar 21700 is slightly smaller = fits some 21700 flashlights that some other 21700s won’t fit into).

Xtar has send me more batteries, but again only one of each type, i…e they will not be tested.

Thanks so much man……Protection is the only feature I value and your reviews are invaluable even I do not post in each of your many threads…
