Update everyone, I have been in a bit of a hiatus lately as i was diagnosed with the COVID-19 and became ill for a few weeks, and currently recovered but have a lot on my plate with life’s struggles, financial struggles, job struggles, etc. I do hope to get back to BLF as soon as i can to continue the LT1-Mini project, and future Lantern projects. :+1:

Take your time Denny. We’ll be here.
Hoping for better days ahead for you.

Glad to hear you have made it through to the other side, Den. Here’s to wishing you a full recovery and success at overcoming ther other obstacles you’re facing.

Right, I should probably add SOS to the lantern’s UI diagram… forgot about that.

Also, apparently I got the timing wrong for SOS. It blinks out “S O S” as three separate letters, using the official timing standards… but it seems that “SOS” is meant to be transmitted as if it were a single letter, with none of the usual pauses between. So I fixed that, but it was only a few days ago.

If anyone wants the updated version, it’s here:

http://toykeeper.net/torches/fsm/anduril.2020-06-02.blf-lantern.hex

It’s a really minor thing though… it just changes from “S O S” to “SOS”.

About the tempcheck mode, there is no thermal regulation on the lantern, so all temperature-related functions have been removed. The reason is because the temperature sensor is nowhere near the LEDs, so it can’t sense the temperature of the parts which matter.

Edit: The UI diagram is updated.

Wishing you all the best.

Hi all,

this is an awesome project and I am very happy with the LT1 that I received yesterday. Thanks to all people that were involved in the creation of this fine lantern! I always appreciate the possibility to have a lot of features and being able to customize them, even though it can be a little confusing with just one button. Therefore I created my own small manual for placement in the battery compartment based on the one made by AmishBill, but compiled a little bit differently to fit my needs.

Anyways, I thought maybe it is also useful for others and thus want to share it:

Besies, we will produce make colored New LT1 lantern Desert Tan, Green, Orange, Even bare aluminum, you name it when old Lt1 sell out basically.

1.How to distinguish old version from new version?

Old version version:

LT1 lantern with old driver link

New version driver:

LT1 lantern with new driver link

2.What is the difference between LT1 old version with new version?

Old version LT1 don't support C-C charging. New LT1 supports it.

Thanks for the Deal on the older LT1, a very good deal.

I’m still waiting for the colored versions to come out, as are many of us.

Are we/you going to have a list for the colored versions

Thanks for the update.

Colored version will be available after the old version sold out.

I guess new color version will be available in July if old version sell well

Click me Click me

We hope to sell old versions quickly, and start the colored versions soon

Now same price on Old version with batteries, and new version without battery.

Actually old version of LT1 does not work with TYPEC charger which need to be bought seperately.

How many people have that kind of charger?

If you don't have that kind of charger, Old version works the same as new version!

The shipping fee is more expensive than before the pandemic, maybe the shipping fee will never drop back to where it was.

Sofirn may have to increase price a little in the future to keep reasonable profits.

This is the time if you want a LT1.

Just got mine yesterday and this lantern is awesome. I will try to get into all the programming sometime today. Also check to see if it has the latest firmware and the pods discussed are connected. I’d love to have a case for it. Won’t be hard to find something that will work.

Sofirn sells this case …

or search for a case for a Flip-4

+1 :+1:

Looking forward to seeing the colored versions Barry :+1:

I wish the button could be illuminated all the time. While the lantern is on the button light is off.
It’s difficult to find the button when the lantern is on.

The button on mine stays on when the lantern is on. When the lantern is at low brightness the button is dim, but it does stay on.
