I prefer NarsilM myself. Config can’t be entered by mistake and you can entirely disable thermal step down for those who like manual control. I also don’t always like all the blinkies and strobes. It’s great on the LT1 Lantern but most lights it feels too much

You guys would probably like my version of Anduril then. I got rid of the blinkies on the 3 click menu - all it does it voltage readout, temp read out, and version num blink I up'ed the max temp to 90C as well.

I would like that along with a method to simply load a user interface customized to my preferences through a USB-C charging port that also functions as a data port.

No clue what’s on it. It’s currently on the list of license violations since they’re distributing the product without providing source code.

However, I just recently got a bit of info about it, suggesting that the OEM might be Sofirn… so hopefully I can contact them to get it resolved.

And in general, I think there needs to be a map to help people figure out what firmware ships on commercial lights. Will probably put up something about that soon, since it’s a common type of question.

im positive the ec01 is made by sofirn, the switch feels identical to my c8f… weird they would be violating your license like that, they should know better.

Not that weird - I’m pretty convinced Sofirn are using at least parts of TK’s code in the Wurkkos FC11 and others that have non-Anduril implementation of stepless ramping. The operation just seems too similar to the full Anduril operation for it to have been developed as fully independent code…

Only TK would be able to find out and reverse-engineer the driver to know for sure, but even using snippets of code should require the license terms to be met.

BTW which MCUs are supported by Anduril?

My PL47 G2 only turns on if I double click for turbo. Aux lights are on and I can do a battery readout.

None of the other modes are working. Can not ramp stepped or smooth. Just turbo.

Are you claiming that because the UI is similar, parts of the Anduril code must have been used? Do you have evidence beyond superficial similarity? Stepless ramping UIs had been independently developed and used in flashlights for years before Anduril (or its predecessor Narsil) were created. It’s more likely that Sofirn’s ramping UI as used in the Wurkkos FC11 and SP36S was developed from their own ramping UI as used first in the Thorfire TK18.

Anyone? I’m looking for some “bigger” MCU then Attiny85 supported by Anduril.
I tried to look through the FW repository, but there is so much versions and the orientation isn’t easy…

EDIT: After some try I was able to get the FW as tar. After digging in the hwdef files I found Attiny 1634.

So far, just the attiny25/45/85 and attiny1634. I started adding attiny841 support too, but that project got cancelled. There’s also some very recent tinyAVR 1-series support too, added by gchart, but I haven’t merged it in yet.

I always liked the bike flasher but with Anduril for which you can adjust its brightness, at max brightness for example, the effect is less noticeable than at medium brightness, so instead of using the bike flasher, I’m using the tactical strobe at its lowest speed but I find it too fast (I’m using a FW3A with a red filter as a rear light).

Would it be possible to have a speed for the tactical strobe down to 1 flash/sec and an adjustment to the effect of the bike flasher along the ramping brightness, please ?
