✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF05 SBT90.2 7000lm 3000m+ Thrower Searchlight - $390 (restocked) + Free Charger

Matt Smith tested it and he could still hold it from the end of the handle after 15 mins (I think). This was with the light facing down. In actual use it wouldn’t get as hot and the MF05 has even more cooling fins/area. It also will have a carry handle so i don’t think heat will be an issue. I have never owned the GT myself but judging by the size of this MF05, it doesn’t seem like 100W should be an issue.

Edit: Just realised it has an extrenal fan so it should be no problem. Hopefully they can make a similar sized light to compete with the MS18.

The GT70 and MF04S suffers from heat soak on turbo after about 2 mins.

Preorder will start in July 2020.

I want one

Sure.

May I ask what is the price range?

Astrolux® MF04S XHP70.2 RP is $245.95.

Could you please clarify the preorder date, I’m seeing both June and July listed in various places. Thanks, Alex

But in group buys or with coupons we pay much less.
I paid for mine less than $150 shipping incuded, with coupon.

PS, At this time BG does not ship to my country.

Ok maybe 2  can I put in an order for 5 spare reflectors?

:stuck_out_tongue:

I would like to see this light with a short tube 4x18350

Do you mean 18650 or 18350? That seems like an odd request. It will be hard to hold and very head heavy. Not to mention low power and short run time.

Of course 18350  Tube for fun
I remember Hank showing us the D18 render with a short tube 3x18350.
Since then, I like to wonder how such large flashlights with short tubes would look like.

I want one. Will replace my blf gt hopefully.

I thought I’d already expressed my interest, but I can’t find my saying so. So interested!

Let me know if you guys like "behind the scene" clips. I will request for more in future.

Good video. I feel like prices of flashlights are incredibly and unreasonably cheap for the amount of material and work that goes into them. I think prices will go up significantly in the coming few years.

wow thats a big reflector… it didnt just come of a shelf somewhere it had to be made…
