Nice watches . I got interested in watches when I read Dr. No back in the 60’s. It said James Bond wore a Rolex Submariner .
That started a long journey though 100’s of cheap watches and 5 dollar Rolex copies from Chinatown in NYC . Eventually landing on a Submariner in Stainless and gold when I was in my 40’s . It cost $5,800. I think I wore it twice in the last 25 years
I also bought a bunch of other watches along the way because I have OCD . Which is why I now have too many flashlights since joining this forum .
I lived on the watchuseek.com web site checking out the “deals” section
OCD is a cruel mistress , Watches , flashlights , guns , knives , swords , tomahawks , medieval helmets , gas masks .

I feel your regrets, and believe everybody goes thru a bought of it in some form or another, especially “neat” stuff. You are just a more experienced choir preacher. lol
I’m glad I paired down my inexpensive collection, before my target market went belly up. Now I’m more discerning before a purchase.
I buy one at a time. With an Omega Seamaster I bought back in 1959 in Germany (In the UK Army)
That’s my dress watch.
Used a Seiko 200m Diver. but shook it to death at work. Good watch.
But after trying (recommended by Clockmaker mate). A Citizen.
Now on Second one. First one. again Died at work. Heavy Machinery operator and set up.
Never looked back.
Wear 24 hrs a day apart from in shower. 21 yrs just ticking over.
Ecodrive solar face. NEVER touched it NO battery. Time drifts back minimally.
Like he said. Keep your watch temp constant. A good one will stay constant.

Sounds like a GMT, for tracking a separate time zone. If the weird hand mimic’s the regular hour hand tracking interval, that’s what it is.
Finally found a Casio Pro Trek PRW-60 at a reasonable price a while back. Guess fewer people are interested in this colorway since even the other silicone band versions were $100+ more expensive.
I heard about them quite a while ago and was super excited that Casio finally had an analog Pro Trek at a size manageable for my spaghetti arms. I’ve been wearing solar and bluetooth/radio timekeeping watches almost exclusively recently and not going full OCD checking my mechs’ accuracy has been a bit of a relief honestly. I wanted something with as many of the qualities of a G-Shock as possible with more reserved aesthetics and size to make it more versatile… this delivers.
The STN (I think that’s what it’s called?) negative LCD is much easier to read in dimmer conditions and while angled which was a nice surprise having been annoyed by some G-shocks with them. Band is more flexible than the standard resin on older G models and comparable to the newest releases with quick-release springbars. Barton 23mm straps fit it as well (but stock is so comfy I don’t have any desire to swap colors).
Looks a little big, but nice otherwise!
There are so many nice watches out there that are just too big for my small wrists.
It’s 42x50mm not including buttons. Huge difference from the 47mm+ Pro Treks though, those would truly be a hockey puck on my wrist too 
Like usual it appears larger in pics vs in-person too though. Wears very comparable to an Orient diver but is much lighter of course.
I bought my last watch eight years ago (a black PVD coated GWS with trits, sapphire crystal and Ronda quartz movement), but recently I found the trits get too dim for my liking (in 8 years they loose 40% brightness), otherwise it is still a great watch.
But I found this one and fell in love.
is that glycine one where the entire face glows?
( it looks slightly green, so that is possible )

Oh, OK. Casio’s website says 47x50. Maybe that’s including buttons? They don’t say.
Yep they include crown on many of their measurements for some reason. It’s why on their site and Amazon the larger Pro Treks are listed at something truly crazy like 52mm diameter.
Yes, the whole face is covered with lume, that is one of the attractions for me. And the nerdy 24hour/rotation movement (I’m still nowhere getting used to that :party: ), and the automatic movement, and all that black, and the Nato strap. It is not a classic style Glycine watch but I love this new design. The price was more than what I ever payed for a watch (a Suunto watch with altimeter came close, but that was 25 years ago) so I hope it will last me the next 20 years.
