What blade did you EDC today?

It should look good. Itā€™s copying a great knife. Being a knock-off is a con on its own for some people. In my experience with other brands, that usually doesnā€™t bode well for the veracity of the steel stamp. Has anyone tested the steel on these?

Looks great. I have a demascus bladed, carbon fiber scaled Elementum. One of my favorite knives, I carry it often.

Got these two the last few days and have been carrying them as well. CJRB Ria and a Gerber Kettlebell. I always grab the Gerber when itā€™s on sale. Walmart and Academy will have them for around $15 or less on sale. Iā€™ve found Kettlebellā€™s in the clearance tub for $5 a few different times at Academy.

What are we looking at here?

I guess a nicely anodized Grimsmo Norseman.

Very nice budget knife!

Omg :open_mouth: a grimsmo norseman pandemic, how did you get so lucky

Hit the site at just the right time! My camera does not do it justice. Yes it is a Pandemic Grimsmo Norseman.

Gorgeous scales.So beautifully done. I thought Iā€™d check out their siteā€¦ OMGā€¦ over $900! :open_mouth:

Eep! Now imagine it getting taken away from you at the airportā€¦

Thatā€™s one thatā€™d definitely be sitting behind glass on a shelf somewhere, not carried.

I feel the same way. I carry only my sub $75 knives. The ones costing more stay home & see light dutyā€¦ because ownership is more about appreciating the design & quality (I want them to last as long as possible). After the economic stresses are finally over, Iā€™ll probably shift gears & get duplicates so I wonā€™t feel the need to restrain myself.

But yeah, $500 is one cost threshold I am pretty far from crossingā€¦ and almost double is entering the ā€œknife sculptureā€ category, something thatā€™s really more of a work of art than something to use & carry casually.

Thatā€™s why I stocked up on the go,comma wunderknife when it was like 8bux a pop.

QSP Hawk Carbon Damascus

Dude ! thatā€™s not fair, i cant even have that knife legally, and TBH i want the gun and that is just TOTALLY out of the question unless i can find one on the black market for >3000 USD
And dont get me started on how hard / near impossible it will be to get ammo, and the price for it if you was lucky to find some.

BUT ! i actually have a nice S&W T shirt in the mail  cuz if i cant have it i can scream off the top of my lounges that i want it.

Sanrenmu LAND 912. Paid twenty dollars from a U.S. seller on eBay. Very impressed with it. Razor sharp 12C27 blade steel at this price, amazing value.

Fixed blade Friday: Jesse Jarosz Globetrotter midtech. Fashioned in AEB-L, and richlite scales, carried via a Sagewood Gear belt loop dangler adapter securing a Cleveland Kydex DE sheath.

If youā€™re looking for the ultimate budget folder you can take a break now.

EDC:
This is my TwoSun TS66-G10. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
I posted a couple of pics about the process here.

I had owned a TwoSun TS66-G10 up until last week. I gave it away as a gift. The person said ā€œthis is an awesome knife, I love it.ā€ Yep, simply amazing knife for around $30-$35 on eBay where I had gotten mine.

The mod you did to yours is very cool!

Thanks!
I mean the price - value ratio of the Land 912 is outstanding in the budget category.
The TS66-G10 is also nice but it cost me 3 times more than my Land 9103 (912).

I really like the TS66-G10 in blue/white. It reminds me a little of Japanese Manga.
