Just purchased the Mpow H10, the $10 off additional from Amazon was still active for me so total $9.99.
Did a quick search of reviews outside of AMZ, most are favorable at a higher listed price.
It seems like most possible issues mentioned would be noticed within 30 days (connectivity, stutter, battery life) and you could return. A few people did mention fragile hinge joints but Mpow took care of most of the complaints.
It appears that $10 off Mpow coupon can be used once per Amazon account, so once you order it, it doesn’t appear any more if you are signed in to Amazon.
Very interesting — I didn’t feel like making a new thread —besides this thread is for buying things we don’t really need—Right
Price was $25 before it sold out
Amazon just delivered mine and it was definitely worth the $10. I don’t have a jet engine handy to test, but the noise reduction was able to render the air cleaner and computer fans dead silent without noticeably compromising the dynamic range for some pop music over bluetooth. The hinges don’t seem overly weak, so if it lasts a year I’d feel like I got my money’s worth. It also folds up and comes with a decent cloth carrying bag. Don’t know about the battery life yet, but I’ve definitely paid much more for less capable headphones.
I seem to prefer the H20 for TV over all the others I’ve bought (all of them on Vipon) —The H10 seem to play music the best with my Iphone —The Meidong were complete garbage for $35 and even not worth $10—they went back — I’ve given all my grand kids and workers from our renovation all my trial and error buys
When I want to listen more accurately — I have several wired pairs — ranging from HiFi Man to Sennheiser—- I am surprised of how much sound the MPOW produce though— $/sound ratio
Yeah, I get the feeling that I’d go deaf if I listened to these at max volume for an extended period of time and they don’t even sound like they’re clipping or cutting back on the bass when cranked up. I can’t believe one of the H18 reviewers said they returned the H10 because it wasn’t loud enough! That guy’s eventually going to be hearing imaginary mosquitos 24/7 I suspect.
After skipping the H12 that I could have got for like $5, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the H10’s for $10. Do I need them? Nope. But does vodka-me think I need them? Sure! Hopefully they’ll be good for mowing or something.
LOL. Maybe if you can get them rotating fast enough. Mine are coming Fri also. They sound like a good buy. I wish I could get more than one per Amazon account. They would make good stocking stuffers.
A different approach to mowing and noise cancelation for sure. I’m working on a breakthrough jello hammer invention, just need startup funding from some forward looking venture capitalists. :money_mouth_face:
