Yeah, I get the feeling that I’d go deaf if I listened to these at max volume for an extended period of time and they don’t even sound like they’re clipping or cutting back on the bass when cranked up. I can’t believe one of the H18 reviewers said they returned the H10 because it wasn’t loud enough! That guy’s eventually going to be hearing imaginary mosquitos 24/7 I suspect.
After skipping the H12 that I could have got for like $5, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the H10’s for $10. Do I need them? Nope. But does vodka-me think I need them? Sure! Hopefully they’ll be good for mowing or something.
LOL. Maybe if you can get them rotating fast enough. Mine are coming Fri also. They sound like a good buy. I wish I could get more than one per Amazon account. They would make good stocking stuffers.
A different approach to mowing and noise cancelation for sure. I’m working on a breakthrough jello hammer invention, just need startup funding from some forward looking venture capitalists. :money_mouth_face:
Saw the H12's with Vipon $13 off comes out to $10.50 The H16's going for $15 with Amazon clip coupon.
Also saw the H20's in Amazon at $39.99 with amazon clip $20 off, total $20. Mind you I just bought the H10's and have no idea about the difference between those and the H18's.
I received the H12s today— they are very similiar to the H10 —- They look a little more refined—blacked out
They could very well be the same headphones with a different look
I didn’t realize the ANC worked even if the headphones weren’t on
Aha. Thought it was a combo of bt and internal amp.
Forgot how my [Bose] QC15s worked (got killed by an alkaleak). Wired-only, no bt, but iirr they needed to be turned on for the internal amp to work. Ie, don’t recall if they worked “passively” with no power. Probably did, but ain’t sure.
