I have an outstanding order from Kaidomain that has been 96 days since ordering. Tracking has not up-dated in the last 61 days. Yet I have another order placed 17 days later that did arrive. It took 45 days. I’m convinced the first order is now lost.
Kaidomain just keeps saying wait. That’s not helpful. If I’m the only person complaining about a slow parcel, then they should assume its lost and refund. If many customers are complaining, they need to get onto the shipping company and find out what’s going on.
I’m still waiting on my Convoy order that was ordered June 4th. Shipped out fast, but still shows in China as of today. I have no idea if it left China yet! My last Convoy orders took over 40 days to get here (ordered in March and April). Iguess starting last week Simon has a new shipping option that’s “free” but lots faster than epacket.
Simon is the best. He even said epacket has had issues. I never had trouble with it until all the Coronavirus stuff went down. I would reliably get Convoy orders in 14 days.
Well air mail apparently depends on the number of flights from the country. My latest purchase just before fathers day was shipped over “ocean carrier” I won’t be expecting it for a while. My order from Convoy AliExpress store through Simon sure came fast though (about 3 weeks). All others ordered in March are still not here yet.
Not sure what is going on either. Looks like some folks have figured out how to ship quickly while others have not.
Waiting on my ‘ocean’ shipment… even though it says it cleared us customs…twice over 2 weeks. Now no update for 2 weeks maybe clearing customs another 2 times? ah ;’/
Anyone from Canada receive any packages ordered from Hank/intl-outdoor ordered between March and May?
Going on nearly three months since Hank shipped two packages my way. Ordered 4/7, shipped 4/10, last update on 5/22 with tracking showing “En-route to Canada” after over a month of a “processing” status.
Just trying to get a feel for if anyone else is in a similar situation.
I suspect a major factor in many shipments being delayed is the use of Pitney Bowes as a shipping partner. USPS tracking info for one of my packages shipped May 15th shows it was picked up in Jamaica, NY by the shipping partner Pitney Bowes ten days ago. One recent package went to one of their facilities and sat there for two weeks before moving again.
Anyone in Canada waiting for a package coming from Singapore is going to wait well exceeding many more days/months. I contacted both Singapore post and Canada post as to ascertain my KR4’s current location, Singapore assured me it had left the country on May 22nd whilst Canada post confirmed after checking logistics that it had not left Singapore I trust Canada post on this as its been 50 days since last update and I doubt it would take that long EVEN by boat to arrive in Canada.
Well to be fair, it’s not just Chinese companies that let you down on delivering on time. My second order from the USA has been just as bad.
I got a knife from drop.com on 16th April - was due to ship early June.
By 28th June I had to contact them, they said there was a problem (so why not tell me? , just like China, bad/no comms) and if it took more than another month they would let me know.
It finally shipped on the 13th July and has been stuck in DHL Avenel, NJ since. Hasn’t moved for 6 days from the ‘sealed in sack’ stage.
I don’t expect to have it in my hands for another fortnight at the earliest - it has to fly over and go through customs yet.
I ordered a headlamp from boriut AE store 2 weeks ago. Shipped in 3 days and is now in the US somewhere. I think it depends on when you ordered and who you ordered it from.
