The "Hank Wang, design us a 16340 light"-Thread

at that size, I would prefer SS.

Please no, for the sake of my wallet, I don’t want another battery size to invest in.

If I’m not mistaken, that limits heat dissipation. No objections otherwise.

Yes please
No SS please, it would make heat dissipation worse!
Alu would be OK for me!

It would be nice to have something not longer than the Olight 16340 light’s or thr Acebeam TK16, for nice pocketable light
BTW, some comparisons

Klarus shows how short it can be:

Ah, and the Klarus has a protected battery with charging port.

DAIIIUMN!!! That is SHORT :open_mouth:
I am not sure if with all the quality Hank uses (springs, host thickness, etc) it would become so small, but even if it is not so small, it would be nice
And the S1R II is already small :innocent:

Yes, I too think the S1RII has a good size. I’d be happy with whatever he came up with. Hm. He just needs to start  .

Disambiguation: I am not the “Hank” you’re looking for.

Subject changed.

many hate 16340 due to the small capacity…. not sure if there would be enough interest…

16340, single led, Ti, Anduril…

I’m more interested in a 14500 light using the SBT90.2. The recently released Vapcell H10 and Shockli 1000mah are monster cells. High capacity and a whopping 10A current!! There aren’t any similarly impressive 16340 cells in existence.

> I’d like to see a 16340 light with Andúril

me too

I would even be happy with just a

Ramping UI, no blinkies

Like the Nitecore EX10

May the Force be With You :sunglasses:

Spoken like a true Jedi.

Ok, but this is not the “Hank Wang, bring us the highly impressive 14500 light” Thread. It is about interest in a small 16340 light.

1 Thank

This is a joke right? 10amps is more 2mm flat white territory.

I also wish we could still buy the Nitecore D10 with Simple Ramping and NoDisco

but
These are not the Droids youre looking for…

someone should start an AA Ramping UI thread :innocent:

uh huh

10A is the rated continuous current. Even the NCR18650GA rated at 10A can reach 3,000 lumens on the D4.

well there is a vapcell 800mah high drain that is one of the best.
