I have a bunch of the vapcell 800mah. They are nowhere near as powerful as the Vapcell H10A. In fact the Acebeam 550mah is much more powerful than the Vapcell 800mah
A 16340 or 14500 light built to the level of quality that Hank delivers would be great.
A single LH351D, or even better, an E21A quadtrix would be a good match. 1x7135 + FET would be fine. The new 5A constant current driver would be superb.
I wouldn’t personally vote for a shallow reflector - I’d only need a moderate amount of spill. A regular reflector depth is fine for me (Like the S2+ or S2), or a TIR, especially if an appropriate size is available with different beam profiles. But I won’t be picky as long as the beam isn’t ringy.
I suspect I’d be very happy with the Olight S1R II size.
Me too. I have even arranged with the slightly taller S1R. This kind of space allows for all sorts of optics and reflectors as well as protected batteries with charging port.
Makes me sad so few are interested. But that explains why some manufacturers don’t touch this size. So, I’ll be happy with the lights I own as I was all the time before (got the first one in 2017).
I’m not really a fan of 16340, though it would be cool if he made one that took them, it would be pretty damn pocket carryable (that’s not a word) and you could get quite a bit of led power in the light for its size.
Good 14500 like the H10 and L10 Vapcell, yes. There was a really nice 16340 from Vapcell but they discontinued it, sadly, and the current ones available are decent but not as good…so 14500 would win there. Maybe you meant 18350 for the other…toss-up there because there are a couple that put a little more on the table than the 14500s do, but close, depends on what current is being asked of them. I’d rather see Hank do a 14500 than the others, although I recently picked up the shorty tube for the KR4 and it’s fun & compact-ish although four emitters on that little cell puts forth serious limitation in run time.
