Test/review of YCDC 18500 2500mAh (Orange)

YCDC 18500 2500mAh (Orange)

Official specifications:

  • Capacity: 2500mAh

  • Voltage: 3.7V

  • Charge voltage: 4.2V

A 18500 with 2500mAh from Ebay?

Only about 1000mAh and can not even deliver 1A, not very impressive.

Conclusion

The battery works, but not anywhere near its rating, it has both low capacity and low current output.

Thanks  In the market for new 18650! My current ones are about 5 year olds and not keeping their charges well! They have been in use everyday and recharged every 3-4 days!

Thanks for the review. Looks like one to avoid as you suggest.

18500’s are hard to find… I can also only find some ‘generic’ type 18500s so far. Haven’t been able to order better branded 18500s because they do not ship to my country or would be extremely expensive. Plus not that much use for 18500s in flashlights for now. An interesting size though, if they can perform as well as the top-rated 18350s with a bit more capacity.

18500 can do about 2000mah 15A

But it’s hard to sell

No interest, leading to manufacturers stop R & D sales :weary:
