Mocarny: Thank you for your comprehensive and valuable review!
This amazing light is a huge bright spot in the flashlight world. I got three, and gave two to friends. But first, a lengthy sermon about using high modes for brief burst, and all of the other safety pointers, too.
Thanks for the review Mocarny
I always like your outdoor beamshots! It gives a good perspective of what the flashlight “does” in terms of illumination!
Keep up the good work
Hi Mocarny, thanks for the review and detailed pictures also please thank your girlfriend for the great translation.
I just received an e-mail from Illumn explaining that the FW21 Pro will be on sale for $55.96 on the 4th of July. The code will be “JULY4”. If you buy a battery or two it will probably be free shipping.
That seems like a great deal especially for US buyers (sorry Mocarny) probably will go fast.
I’m just not really a tail clicky guy or I would be all over this but I thought I should pass it on.
You can always change it, but I think it is well designed - don’t overheat so quickly. FW3A is set too high and there is pretty much no difference between max ramp and turbo
Very good review Mocarny. Can you make a time graph on high celling. I am intersted to view if FW21Pro can sustain about 1000 lumens for longer times. I think FW21 will be great helmet light if it can.
You can make the ream ceiling higher, it is probably 120/150 so you can increase it to 150.
And if you want slightly more turbo time, you can get copper FW21 Pro, it will be very heavy though.
You won’t be disappointed, I bought a second one. Just remember to not unscrew the bezel, it is very easy to break leds this way.
It is probably not coated. And I love this smell! Sad that you dont…
I will do those measurements between 30T and LG M50T and update you with the results. In my opinion it is not worth to put a higher drain cell in it, cause you have pure turbo only for a moment, only with full charged battery.
