[Review]Lumintop FW21 Pro - 10000lm destruction

Thanks for the review Mocarny
I always like your outdoor beamshots! It gives a good perspective of what the flashlight “does” in terms of illumination!
Keep up the good work

Thanks for the review…

When I gotten mine, I was thinking if something is wrong with mine at Max Ramp. Looks like it’s about the same, dim as yours in Max Ramp.

Anyone has any idea the default Max Ramp step for this FW21 Pro? 120/150???

Hi Mocarny, thanks for the review and detailed pictures also please thank your girlfriend for the great translation.

I just received an e-mail from Illumn explaining that the FW21 Pro will be on sale for $55.96 on the 4th of July. The code will be “JULY4”. If you buy a battery or two it will probably be free shipping.

That seems like a great deal especially for US buyers (sorry Mocarny) probably will go fast.

I’m just not really a tail clicky guy or I would be all over this but I thought I should pass it on.

Noticed this on mine.

You can always change it, but I think it is well designed - don’t overheat so quickly. FW3A is set too high and there is pretty much no difference between max ramp and turbo

So TK explained to me the max ramping is probably 130/150, but it also is probably only 2.8A, and that is why it is so dim.

My E07 is close to 6A 2000+ Lumens which is a good amount for max ramp.

Thanks for checking with TK.

Is there any way to program the time or thermal sensor?

You can only program stepdown temperature, check the link to Anduril firmware in the UI section

great review i look forward getting my copy soon.

Congratulations Mocarny, very good your review I ordered mine because of that. Thank you.

Very good review Mocarny. Can you make a time graph on high celling. I am intersted to view if FW21Pro can sustain about 1000 lumens for longer times. I think FW21 will be great helmet light if it can.

You can make the ream ceiling higher, it is probably 120/150 so you can increase it to 150.
And if you want slightly more turbo time, you can get copper FW21 Pro, it will be very heavy though.

You won’t be disappointed, I bought a second one. Just remember to not unscrew the bezel, it is very easy to break leds this way.

Ok I will check it

great review and great light!

Has anyone measured the difference in output between the 30T and 40T.

It is probably not coated. And I love this smell! Sad that you dont…

I will do those measurements between 30T and LG M50T and update you with the results. In my opinion it is not worth to put a higher drain cell in it, cause you have pure turbo only for a moment, only with full charged battery.

I have a 40T but I’m thinking if it’s worth it to get a 30T. I’m guessing it’ll only be about 5% difference but that’s just a guess. On the skylumen website 40T is recommended for best performance.

If “Best performance” means “400lm more on fully charged battery on turbo @1s which is impossible to notice anyway” then I’m sure it is true.
But I’m gonna use my M50T because of 5000mAh, instead of 3000mAh

Thanks for the review, I bought one. I need to order battery as well: Samsung INR21700-30T 3000mAh - 35A or 40T 4000mAh, the price is almost the same at nkon. The latter is the better choice, right?
