Oops, BG rep just went offline 5 mins ago. He did tell me that Samsung 30Q is still the recommended cell for such setup. For the past MF04 series, both button top and flat top cells are supported.

MF04 extension tube for reference.

As for the grip, product page image shows unprotected Samsung 48G 21700.

I attempted to order this item ten minutes after freeme made the post quoted above, but I don’t know if I was successful in completing my (pre?)order, because this is only the second time that I have attempted such an exciting method of ordering. At the time that I did this, ten minutes after the “Alive” post was made, I did not have the PM with the top secret code, but there was a not so top secret code posted in the first post of this thread. There was no place to apply that code on the Banggood preorder web page, and no place to enter my payment information on the BG web page, so I have no way of knowing if my preorder was successful or ended in failure. I went through a similar process a few weeks ago with ordering the EC03, fifteen minutes after the Group Buy went alive, and there was a place to enter the secret code and a place to enter my payment information and there was a point when I was notified that my order was completed successfully. Can someone PM me and granular detail explain to me the click by click instructions to pre order or order this item using either code?
