✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX FT03 Mini XHP50.2 (4200lm) / SST40 Anduril AUX LEDs USB-C 18650 Flashlight - ALIVE

Hello freeme,

Interested (too lazy to fill form  )

Thanks.

No problem.

Can someone tell me exactly what to purchase for flashing firmware? I’ve flashed phones a lot so the computer side is easy, just need to know what to buy

Would be happy ditching the aux and using a simplified UI on the AstroluxFT03 Mini, MF01, EC03 etc if it has the pads

So no 5000k 50.2 available then?

I notice my order description seems to have changed. It says 5700k but I am sure it said 5000k. Shipping 13th of July but BG says it’s in stock. Anyone know what’s going on?

mine still hasn’t shipped :frowning:

FT03 mini looks really cute with short tube.

Not for me, and that is because of the battery, the short version for me looks like it lost 65% of the capacity. I believe that only a smaller built flashlight justifies the use of a 18350 battery.

Btw I have the 5000K SST-40 version, the beam it makes is very good without any obvious artifacts or tint shifts, on a 30Q I measure 1800 (honest) lumen at 30 seconds ( :+1: ), the tint is pleasantly neutral at low output but rather purple at high output, the CRI as expected is low, about 66 and at lower settings the CCT is 4700K. The colour leds in the reflector make for a neat effect.

Why do you think its purple? Is it being pushed too hard on Turbo or is it just the nature of SST-40 leds?

It is the nature of this led. The turbo tint is not different from the significantly lower top ramp setting tint. To be more precise, the purple-ish is in the spill and not in the hotspot.

//Edit: Oooops, I posted in this topic instead of the EC03 topic.

Thanks, djozz!

^ are you sure that this is about the FT03-mini?

Certain that the purple isn’t from the AR coating?

In my experience AR coatings tend to make it a bit yellower/warmer. Have you seen AR coatings that make it look cooler?

Depends on the colour of the coating, the tint can go anywhere. The green coating of my D80V2 actually works as a minus-green filter, a purple coating removes some red and bluecand so effectively makes the tint a bit greener. I have not seen red or orange coatings (apart from non-functional coatings on very cheap chinese binoculars), those would make a tint cooler.

(the FT03 mini lens has a purple coating)

I wish this was made with a 26650 or 21700 tube option
