Hi, I am AliExpress!

Dogpiling on, I recommended :person_facepalming: AX to someone because I saw a blurb for “20bux-off” coupons for new users who’d sign up. Figured 20bux off a Q8 or whatever she wanted might be worth it.

Uhhh, yeah, something as useless like 20 separate 1buk coupons that could only be used one per order.

Uhh, yah. Don’t think I’ll be doing that again…

I get these all the time, every other week:

Many times it is 3 $US off of purchase of 3.01 $US minimum.

The landing screen looks like this for me:

their ‘sales’ are the same thing

just wander aimlessly in their back room - thousands of unsellable items, hoping you actually need some of it for 3% off

wle

my coupons are normally 3-4 bucks for each purchase.

I’d like to know where you got those. I get useless promotions for stuff I never buy and coupons that have restrictions on them that render them equally useless. I don’t usually spend over $25 on AE, so $1 or $2 off is a joke. I’d buy more if I could get $3 off any amount over $3.

I click on this link after not having logged on for a while:

What I also like about AliExpress are the store coupons. Before you click on products, add them to your cart or even purchase/pay: look at the main storefront whether the shop has store coupons (ie 1 off of 10 or something).
Also, AliExpress select coupons are great for some purchases.

The one big advantage at AliExpress is that you can “stack” all of these coupons.
I just bought a tactical backpack, the same model was available for 18.34 and also for 19.21 or something.
Picked the more expensive one and got 2$US off of it because it was over 19. Then there was my personal coupon (–3 $US) and the AliExpress select coupon.

Including registered shipping I had to pay aroun 13.10.
That’s like six dollars off of 19.21

All of this inspired me to spend a lot more time and money on AliExpress than planned.

only the increase in shipping fees are super inconvenient, but you’ll have those in many shops now.

Real horrible!

Is Mr. AliExpress alive?

mr ali was accidentally buried under an avalanche of FIX THIS comments

I've been taking peeks in AliExpress the last months, and can't say that I like what I see.

Overall, shipping costs have increased. To the point that the offers of some sellers, as I see them, are outright wrong, with ridiculous shipping cost quotes. Take a look, for example, at this (fake batteries) advertisement with a €15.77  shipping cost to where I live. This probably is in part caused by AliExpress being draconian and inflexible with how sales are managed. Sellers should be responsible for everything concerning their sales. In fact, China is responsible for whatever is going on with their government, and in my opinion they could choose a lot better.

I really wonder why is it so hard for me to find sale advertisements using the “seller's shipping method”. An inexpensive but with 0K speed shipping method can be had.

I think it is to do with the guaranteed delivery time or full refund. Basically they are charging you before, just in case it doesn’t arrive on time (and then have to full refund) - kinda wrong, unless you actually WANT it to be in your hands by a certain time, in which case you are covered for a full refund - ironically that doesn’t help if you needed it by that time and it didn’t arrive lol! A refund won’t power your device and you are let down either way.

In my opinion, item costs are up. shipping costs are up. but, delivery time is down. across all my purchases the average delivery has gone from 16.5 days to 14.3 days. (mathematical average, not exact numbers)

Welcome AliExpress.

Do you have any special coupon with big discount for us (BLF)???

Thanks

AliExpress' user last post was 24 days ago. It is to have had some other contribution already, just consider why it didn't happen. Don't lose your time here trying to span AliExpress user's attention.

Ok thanks. I did not noticed that

Looks like Ali went back inside the lamp. Need someone special like Aladin to get out,

Why do so many of the category options in stores not work? You get the message “Sorry, no matches were found for your refined search.” for so many.

I would like it if your vendors actually shipped the items I order. I am talking about inexpensive items. I wait two months, then contact the vendor, they ask you to wait 10 more days, then you have to file a dispute to get your money back.
Also,they provide phony tracking numbers.

The kind of energy you hold in this respect, Bwana, is of utmost importance. As with everything! You are responsible for trusting or distrusting their system, their vendors, etc.

I understand it can be hard to believe correctly, lightfully, positively, and etc. when all what you see is bull after bull and etc., but if you aim to get a good experience, that's the way you must believe!

I always get valid tracking numbers, and my shipments always reach home in time, even if I choose the cheapest shipping option without tracking number (the cheapest shipping options also feature tracking numbers; it's only that their tracking information is actually very limited).

Vendors can extend the delivery time window, and in a few rare cases where it was needed as a rule I got my delivery time auto-extended by the vendors. I have many hundreds of orders, and my delivery time only expired once or so.

One of the biggest problems AliExpress has right now is that they are surreptitiously downgrading their website, while promoting their smartphone application. This is another piss poor example of a company which doesn't knows how to have a secure website, and depends on third parties (Google, and the Android ecosystem where standard users by default are not rooted) for them to feel sure about the safety of their business. @#$%! As an example, my bank has a fully working website, fully working! This means I do not need to have to install another @#$% application to make use of its services, something which I really like.

I was not born yesterday, and I know safe websites and safe business have operated on the internet since the beginning. It's just these bamboozled rookies like AliExpress… LoL!

I can’t say all my experiences have been bad. I have been buying from them for some years and the majority of my encounters have been positive.

It seems lately things have gone south. Especially with inexpensive items.
